Flight Training | My First Time Fully Piloting an Airplane
Since I was a child I've wanted to fly a plane. My first lifelike dream of flying was when I was 10 years old. Financial circumstances were extremely difficult most of my life, and I occasionally used birthday money for a toy plane, a model airplane, and eventually X-Plane flight simulators, and now Microsoft Flight Simulator with a nice physical control setup. While I ultimately took the path of web development and design, my youngest brother switched his career to be a pilot.
In this video I capture many neat moments from my first day of flying with my first flight instructor and brother, Ammon. While I've turned a plane twice before, I've never had more than those couple minutes of flyi...

Off Trail | Free-Hiking Below Freezing with Just Shorts and Running Shoes On!

January 21, 2023 | Hiking off trail / free-hiking in the middle of winter with only shorts and running shoes on; but it felt perfect! Simply enjoying the cold adaptation as learned from Susanna Søberg and Wim Hof. But forgetting my ambition that I typically go much farther than I plan on, and in this case, through deep snow, cliffs, dangerous grades, and mountain lions near by; I still went hig...
Summiting the Peak
Просмотров 36Год назад
May 4, 2020 | For about 7 years I've wanted to hike to this peak from my house because the view from my home city looked like it was epic. The problem was, I had a semi-chronic back injury that made it seem unlikely I'd ever do that. I also was overweight. I also couldn't stand for more than about 15 minutes because of the back injury, until I discovered an exercise at home that changed everyth...

"Frosty", My Wild Great Basin Gopher Snake (Pituophis catenifer deserticola)
Просмотров 2143 года назад
This video shows bringing my new Great Basin Gopher Snake home during a hike, interactions with it, and the beginning of its domestication. I named it "Frosty", because that's the name that instantly came to mind partially triggered by the black & white coloring, and possibly triggered further by Olaf from Disney's Frozen because it likes warm hugs, haha. 😄 I don't know the gender yet.

Desert Tarantula with a Bonus Stripe-tailed Scorpion as Guest

I found a Desert Tarantula dead on a hike; but, what made the experience extra cool, was finding out that there were scorpions in these hills too, and also what these tarantula hole-homes actually look so my kids and I can find living tarantulas in the future.

Same ! Spiders was one of the most scariest things in my life, I got one to face my fears and it’s not that bad actually .
so cute and such a beautiful color scheme
Please tell me where you got that terrarium
Word of advice, please do not handle your tarantula up that high, if it was to fall then it would probably be fatal by rupturing its delicate abdomen, please handle responsibly by not having her more than a few inches above a surface, you’ll thank me for this believe me, as for her enclosure you’ve made a really nice habitat there 👍
This is usually a docile species, but seeing that this video is now at least 3 years old, I'm sure you've learned about Razor's FUN urticating hairs!!!
1:23 You've probably figured this out by now as this was 3 years ago, but for new viewers who stumble across this - given the size and colour, at this point the spider is no longer a sling - it's a juvenile!
mod plss plss GIVE ME THE LINK ILL DO ANYTHIN
It wasn't a mod, but I think after an update I never could get that same look back... Very sad, because this was gorgeous. I just had it set on in highest settings. I think this was before waves were introduced.
I’m glad you added nice background music instead of scary haunting because I believe these creatures are great and misunderstood. Looks like you have a new best friend
I am so jealous 😭😭😭
I am gonna get one after Christmas 🎄
Adam! Hey I heard you were doing videos. Had to say hi!
With the amount of power this kite has, do you think I could use it to Snowboard over a frozen lake on a windy day?
Haha, if it's 20+ mph, yes. Good idea... 😄
Amazing views there. Hi, i am Angela from eastern North Carolina but live in Colorado now. I had a TKR on my left knee this past February 27th. I am now walking without a walker or cane. Only taking Prescription Ibuprofen with Extra Strength Tylenol. Gotta keep it moving, right. Love the scenery, congratulations on your climb to the peaks....Hope you have a great evening...
I watch Tarantula Kat. She has an Amazing channel all about Tarantulas, feeding them, rehousing them, also about jumping spiders as well. So cute. Hope you have a Wonderful time with him..😊😊😊
haha. my brother has the same water dish, the same terrarium and the same species of turantuala.
Can we get an update? How big is he now? Ever bite you?
Kool pet.
Adam!! So freaking amazing!!🎉
Update on the tarantula? 👀
I don’t recommend screen top. They can get caught on it if ur tarantula is one to climb on the top. I have 63 tarantula babies
I had one. She lived for 25 years and then broke my heart when she passed.
Good job on the waterdish, maybe compact the substrate ab bit more. Tarantulas don't like to walk on loose substrate.Good luck with your little buddy. :)
What is the wind mph here, tried flying for the first time in 13 mph and it wouldn’t stay in the air
Yeah, and the intermittent wind here was terrible. I think it was the high teens in this video, but I really needed more.
He loves you 😁❤
Got the same cage
Nice set up. You may find Razor rearanging things to his liking though.
I see how this really doesn't work out well now. The wind isn't very consistent and it isn't going to keep pulling it in the needed or even the same direction...
I have a 2.4m…is this a 8ft kite? If so it’s a foot bigger…LOL!!
Haha, it's a 2.5m kite, 8.2ft, but it seems smaller to me. I was just looking up the dimensions on the webpage for it.
@@AdamCarsonX yea, I’m looking for just a bigger one that can pull. But don’t know if it’s going to pull me!! I’m 180lbs.
I like the workout aspekt on such kites. But i cant get used to these handlebars. It is a good cardio combined with a lot of fun.
Dude, I have got to get one of these. How old you suppose that one is at the time of this video?
Totally worth it! I believe between 12-18 months.
The one thing I really love is that it looks like the black widow spider is trusting you
This is a non problem caused by cheaper centre lock hubs … Cobba, on that thread, is exactly right. There has to be some play in the splines to get the disc on the splines. The only thing that stops the for and aft play is the tightness of the locking ring, which will presumably have a torque setting. I have this issue on my orbea rise h30 cheapest model. Monster say some play is unavoidable, in so many words. The only real fix is swap out the wheels with 6 bolt mount hubs. But the thing is, this is not an actual problem. It’s annoying but once you’ve braked once, the play is moved round and it stays solid in the forward direction. The only time you see this issue is if you ride the bike backwards ( or wiggle it as you did in the video) and then brake backwards. Then it will move the disc on the hub. Until you ride it forwards again, it will creak or knock…. and so on. You will not notice this while riding after your first brake point. Unless your a stunt rider or free rider on a bmx, forget about it. Go ride your bike bro 👍 Ps, just make sure it’s not the rivets holding the disc to the alloy splined carrier causing the play. That would be an issue and a warranty claim.
I have one heading to me as I type , gorgeous little spiders , 🕷 razor looks to be extremely tame already 🕷👍🇬🇧
I've two sets of wheels on my gravel bike, road and trail. Road are mavic aksium evo elite, trail are fulcrum rapid red. My mavic have the sram rotors the bike came with, the fulcrum, I got shimano cheaper. The sram are rock solid on either wheel. No play at all. The shimano, the same play on both wheels. It's definitely an issue with the adapter over the hub.
How’s he holding up?
I just got one of these, It’s about an inch now, and only has the pattern of an adult, but not the coloring yet. I’m curious how big razor has gotten in 2 years? I’ve heard they’re super slow growers. Such a beautiful species
That's exciting! Unfortunately Razor died immediately after one of his molts, apparently called a failed molt. Not sure what happened, but the pet store said it just happens sometimes. I have a Razor 2.0 though that I've had for almost two years, and it's quite large in comparison and has grown notably since then. He's an escape artist and easy to handle too though I only ever hold him every several months. Happy for you!
@@AdamCarsonX oh no! I’m so sorry to hear about Razor! I’m happy that 2.0 is going strong and putting on size quickly. I hope mine can grow and get out of this delicate sling stage quickly! 🕷
anyone have any tips on how to handle a mexican red knee?
great !
So do 6 screw adapter solve this?
FFFFF noooooooooooo
Thanks guys for these information. Just bought a MTB with shimano centerlock hub and this happen. Do you all agree that 6 bolt hubs are better? Thanks
You don't have to handle a WIDOW, in order to overcome that fear! A sweet, fuzzy tarantula can do the job just as well! That is what helped ME.
0:34: They can hardly WALK on flat ground, but in their web, they are lightening fast!😰😖
hey mate, music over your voice was just a little too loud. Cool video!
Red, right, wrong. Remember that of you ever get into the sport seriously or want to drag yourself around on any type of board. Stay safe mang.
I really don’t understand the point of this but congrats if it feels good 👍
Wow indeed I’ve never seen that before usually there one winner in these battles so that a lucky crazy found enjoy the rest of your trail dude
My thoughts as well, that was wild. Thanks!
Np you did great 👍 😊
teflon tape between the spline and the rotor will fix this. Center Lock rotors have been doing this ever since they were created twenty some years ago. Not a real problem, just really annoying on an expensive toy.
Mine was like yours, too - wouldn’t get off my hand hahah.
Razor is literally adorable, I bought a brachypelma hamorii recently but hes a tiny sling and hes always in his burrow, cant wait till hes razors size tho💕
