Catching Giant Desert Hairy Scorpions with My Children & Handling Them | Hadrurus arizonensis

This is a fun video of catching scorpions together with my children, and my adventures keeping them as pets; including handling them, and even picking them up with my bear hands by the tail! Easy now, but pretty intense at first! 😄 Love my kids, and love the journey together.

Hey. Love how you are teaching your kids not to be scared of scorpions. Good on you. I assume that you've learned by now that you can pick them up simply by placing a hand flat in front of them and using your other hand to gently "nudge" them into your open hand? I have picked up hundreds and never been stung. Few wild animals on Earth are more docile than a Desert Hairy.
