    Too many wraps according to most manufacturers. Only one and a half wraps for less than 1" pipe.

    I have a question if you don’t mind. How do you fit a 3/8 “ flare into a 3/8 FIP . I would think I would need a 3/8 FIP that has a flare inside of it.

    • @masterflowplumbing9812
      @masterflowplumbing9812 День назад

      It won’t fit directly. You would need an adapter. 3/8 mip x 3/8 flare

    I appreciate your video and I think the advice you give about not really using them for crazy amounts of pasta and potatoes is probably extremely good advice in general... HOWEVER I do have to disagree with you a little bit. Some of the higher end garbage disposal with 1HP, stainless steel, 9year warranty, extremely quiet with dual sound dampening and have multi stage grinding that can shread up chicken bones even to nearly dust. I've seen it in use and the contents flushed into a clear plastic container with ease. So while it's probably not the best piece of equipment to purchase, you absolutely CAN get monster disposal units that won't clog even with a ridiculous amount of food, just add a normal amount of water with it. Anyways, in general for most units your advice still applies... but there are certainly exceptions.

Ive installed mostly Delta as a diyer at home and at work. Never had one leak before. Maybe I over tightend the one today. I think im going to get a Delta.

    I have a question I hope you can answer.I bought the shortest faucet supply line I could find & didn’t realize it was 1/2” by 1/2” instead of 3/8”.I couldn’t find & I don’t think a shut off valve comes with a 1/2” male outlet anywhere so my question is what size adapter/Reducer would I need to go from the 1/2” female side of the supply line to the 3/8” standard male of the supply line.I will assume the supply line female side would be 1/2” male because I found 2 on Amazon & the 1/2” male fits but I can’t find the correct size female side to go to the 3/8” side of a standard shut off valve.I purchased 1/2” male to the 1/2” female of the supply line & it fits but when I go 3/8” female to the 3/8” of the shut off valve it’s too large.What would be the correct size female side to attach to the 3/8” of the shut off valve??

    How can a (sort of) handyman who replaced the most foolproof lines before could not seal properly the line on my toilet? The leak appeared to come from the plastic shank of the toilet, not the valve. Thanks in advance.

    • @masterflowplumbing9812
      @masterflowplumbing9812 Месяц назад

      The plastic shank is part of the fill valve and is likely damaged. It’s also possibly cross threaded.
