Corsair Virtuoso- The truth and it aint good!!!!
Просмотров 7 тыс.4 года назад
The Corsair Virtuoso SE and Virtuoso are designed to be the best wireless gaming headsets on the market in 2019. But in this review we decide to take a critical eye towards their microphone, comfort, wireless range of SlipStream techology and overall performance I had the Virtuoso's for over 3 months. So this is a honest review about Corsairs flagship gaming headphones.
Subbing ... because of what you say the difference in "audiophile" and "gaming" headphones are. Listening on the IEMs that started my quest.
Bro what are you looking at?😂😂😂
What do you mean
Look like you're looking at yourself in the camera screen the whole time, brother 😄
One once or twice I did. Trust me you can tell if I was doing that. I just have very very small eyes so it looks like it
your content was really good my guy! Should definitley start up again
Is the audio messed up for anyone else?
Just turn the volume up more it not.
yes i cant hear him
@dolphpaperroute6362 turn the volume up. Or use headphones it works
Cool video dude! One question, for gaming on an Xbox series X, if I was to get an amp with headphone input and microphone input, does this mean I could listen via DT 990 Pro’s, and use any microphone plugged into the amp?
Thank you so much this was what I was looking for. Because I am about to buy one of these.
did you bought them? if so, how you liking them?
@molinaeee they are good yes I bought them
For those coming to this video now. The SHP-9500s are now discontinued, and will be marked up by third-party sellers to over 100 USD. The obvious choice being the SHP-9600s now.
Make new uploads man I could get more subs quick
I can't hear you talking.
I bought some last June, great sound but the battery life is a joke. They came out with a firmware update so the mic could be used but that further drains battery life. Gamers need headphones that last more than 3 hours!!! I’ve sent mine back and bought a set with lots more battery life.
Yeah I still have them they are ok sound core vr ones are better and cheaper
I get music... but no voice....
I have used VoiceMeter to add some EQ and with that, I have been able to richen up the low end and tame the harshness out of the highs. I have the 80 OHM version, which has a LONG straight cable instead of the coiled. I like the length. It worked out perfect to route under my desk and up my mic arm. I have them plugged into the back of my mic (Q9U) and it has enough power to drive the 80 OHM drivers and also deliver no-delay mic monitoring.
I own the 250ohm version, I haven’t gamed with them yet. In fact I barely used them yet, I mainly use my audeze penrose or nova pro wireless. I haven’t tried these with a dac amp yet (I have a soundblaster g6 and soon a qudelix 5k or fiio btr5) either, so I haven’t even heard their full potential yet.
I think I’ll just give in and buy the 7hz timeless ae. It’s calling me.
I just got these. I tried them on csgo and I didn't think they sounded very good. I have some really old corsair voids and they sounded much better for gaming.
#500 lol
So can’t buy them and plug into my PC? I have to but that amp? Or an amp in general. Also dope review! I def subscribed big dawg
Great video man. I' with you on the Bose. My QC35s look exactly like yours. I can't say they went in the first year, but definitely within three or so. I'm on the fence as to buy the Bose replacements or a cheaper brand on Amazon. I almost want to pay the extra money for the Bose due to the money I paid for the noise cancellation. On the fence, but thanks for this video.
How about for competitive fps???
where’d my dude go? 😢
I got a pair of these for $50 bucks. I am almost completely uneducated on headphones but I can tell they might be a little "muddy" but more importantly they sound very quiet for what I would call expensive headphones. So my question is do I really need to get an amp for these for them to sound right? Or am I just going deaf
because they require more power so an audio interface or a dedicated amp is required for it to sound better
@@IcyyX_ indeed. I got a usb dongle "dac/Amp" and it did the trick.
damn I thought to myself, "this guy knows what he's talking about, let me binge his channel about headphones" and was disappointed with the lack of vids - you should defo make more, you're great man! Looking for all-in-one earbuds, bluetooth for phone, with dongle option for low-latency, and working mic on low-latency. Thanks for pointing out mic doesn't work for gaming, cancelled order thank to you :)
@ventsii I've found a feedback on Amazon saying new software update enabled mic while using the dongle. Could you check if its true?
@@domin2626 arrived about 2 weeks ago, and it didn't seem to be working back then, I returned them right away, so can't check now :(
@@domin2626 I did a firmware update on mine and my mic works with using the dongle. All you gotta do is updating the earbuds in the software they use :) I've had them for approximately 3 weeks now and they're amazing!
I have a separate mic can I use that mic with these earbuds?
I think u should be able to
@@adultgeeks3900 could you test and see if you still have them avalibe? With the usb dongle ofcourse, also now that you are here is there a other earbuds you recommend more than the 270 hybrid?
It’s important that they have dongle since I use voice meter banana and switch between headsets
I don’t own them anymore but these are the hybrids.
Appreciate the review
Dude, excellent job. Just ordered these for my Series X and PS5. I've got some sennheisers, but prefer most of them for music, and audio work that I do. Again, great video dude. Definitely got a sub from me!!
got these ab a year ago and have had charging problems for 6 months already, considering buying from a different brand
Hs70 and hs80 better virtuoso wireless is garbage functionality wise
I had plantronics rig 500 "gaming" garbage that fell apart on me, I found a pair of SHP 9600 on sale for 68 dollars which is quite cheap in my country :)
I would love to know about the latency man. I play warzone solo queue, i dont need the mic i just want to know if it's real-time just like wired or maybe a little bit same like that?
It’s not zero latency but it’s pretty low from when I had them. And competition play I would not use them personally. They sound very thin and the imagining is not the most accurate
Like 50ms which is pretty good for Bluetooth.
at least you realized the mic doesn't work while gaming. The other reviews say it works without even trying...definitely have to pass on these, useless if you can't use the mic during group gameplay. nice review
Most reviewers don’t read lol I want to give out reliable info
I think it works now via firmware update
Yes of course
Headset is trash they crapped out in 3 weeks started flashing red now don't even turn on
Best 200 I've ever spent on a headset. They have been everything Ive asked for in a headset. One negative review shouldn't deter you from understanding how great these are. I've been through them all. Plantronics, Turtle rock, Steelseries, and these corsairs are the best all around I've owned. 2 years running and no issues.
So,you can gladly recommend this headset for gaming ? I really want a user feedback,I saw a lot of reviews and many of them said it’s very uncomfortable and the sound quality doesn’t justify the price tag,Can you perhaps provide some suggestions ? Thank you
I can't hear anything at all, except your intro. Don't know what is happening
Volume is just low turn the volume alll the way up bad recording
I got sound peats True air 2 for $45. Theres a gaming mode which has zero audio lag. The mic works too. And theres no dongle. You just connect through bluetooth. You should check those out. Sound peats makes other TWS earbuds with gaming mode as well.
Is that for mobile gaming
@@adultgeeks3900 Gaming laptop, Nintendo switch, and my phone. Gaming mode worked on all devices I've tried. Zero audio lag. True Air 2+, Air3 and some other ones SoundPeats made have this feature. Make sure it says game mode on the description.
@@adultgeeks3900 I recommend SoundPEATS TrueAir2+ or SoundPEATS Air3 ($40-$50) if you want ones similar to regular AirPods or if you want an in ear design I suggest SoundPEATS Mini Pro ($50). Make sure on the description it states gamemode.
shame your channel is so unsubbed should have more, actual good content on it
since this is 250ohms, does it work without an amp but not to its full potential, or just doesn’t work at all (since ill be using it on a pc with a dedicated sound card)
It will work with out a amp just the power level will be super low like you won’t enjoy them
SHP9600 is 68$ rn. Is it worth getting it over the 9500 for gaming apex legends fps?
For 68 dollars you won’t be upset
0:45 flashing screens warning
Thanks for your review. Can you please tell me how these headphones are positioned in games (COD Warzone, CS GO)? Can you hear everything well? I don't know which one is better to choose DT 770 PRO or DT 990 PRO?
Your mic sounds weird
Yeah the audio was for sure off in this video sorry 😢
@@adultgeeks3900 You're welcome
Going places my guy!
Hey man, nice video! I wanted to know though since I want to buy these for gaming on my phone, how is the latency for that? I play a lot of emulated stuff on my phone and I was wondering if you tried anything like that. I am new to this whole world of BlueTooth and it has majorly sucked trying to find the right ones to buy. I got burned with the Razor Hammerheads. The latency is real low, low enough for me to forget about it, but functionally they suck and the other earbud in the pair has trouble connecting.
When it come to the phone Im pretty sure there is some Latency but not gaming breaking
But I would not spend 200 dollars for mobile gaming
@@adultgeeks3900 alright, thanks for getting back to me!
Tks for this video. I wasnt sure if i wanted the original or these. I wish the bose oem would be more durable, but i do need the comfort they provide. tks again!
After 16 years of expensive gaming headsets, I said farewell to them.. These earbuds are AMAZING. Actually also the first true wireless earbuds for gaming. Truly impressed by built quality, signal, aluminium case, good battery, good passive isolation and of course no latency since they use aptX Low Latency codec only!. I bought the version with the little USB-C dongle. I literally love them, thinking about buying another pair just for spare parts....no joke! Unfortunately Epos does not have a strong advertising on them, but they deserve so much success! Also their software ( on PC ) gave me no problems, i immediately updated the firmwares after the unboxing. They are flawless. I use them on PC and PS5
do they have two way audio(on full quality mode - not br free mode) when connected on pc?
When connected to a phone it’s like a normal pair of headphones music/media/call in pc only audio
Bro I think you might have something here! Your editing is so good and you are making vids that I've been trying to find for a long time now. Keep it up!
Great work!
Do a setup video !
I’m pretty late to this but I’m deciding between the 9600s and the Arctic pro(wired). I can get them for nearly the same price which one would be better?
Shp 9600 have no mic so you have to buy a mic. Attachment so so are spending more money
Came here after looking at the Bose website for replacements, the reviews there had many, MANY people complaining about the reliability of the replacements as well. In one of the reviews, there was a reply from one of the Bose customer support staff indicating that the pads are made of a "protein leather" that will break down from the acid in your sweat over time and that wiping them down regularly with a damp cloth and storing them in their case when not in use with the desiccant packet to draw moisture will increase their longevity. You're right, they are the most comfortable pads I think I've ever felt on a pair of headphones, just would have been nice to know initially that comfort came with some required maintenance. Thanks for the review and guide, still not sure if I'm going to switch to WC or stick with stock pads.
