Crossfire 2 -great bike

I don't find the suspension an issue, you can't lock it out, but it's comfy on flat tarmac. It's just right as it smooths out any bumps in the road on the handlebars, but bear in mind there is no seat suspension so sometimes bumps can come through this part of the bike. I think it's quite fast so I doubt the suspension affects the speed 👍

Hold the tape measure to the centre of the pedal axel, and measure up to the top of the seat post tube, without the seat post in it. Simple really😊

We bought the car in November 2016 (when it was 6 months old) and haven't had any issues with it, gone through MOTs great etc. I know that if they do break they're not the cheapest to fix, but the only thing we've had is one of the wing mirror glasses falling off one morning which is fairly common apparently 🤦‍♂️😅

@@KA-hw4ec yup, pulled it out the drive one morning and it just fell- the glue from the factory isn't too strong from what I understand

In terms of the Crossfire 2s, there were only a couple cheaper than this that popped up (no older than 4 yrs old) over the course of a month or so. I consider this one an excellent deal because of how new it is, how little it was used and the amount of accessories that came with in under the price 👍

No one is selling these bikes under £100

Bike pricing is difficult, £100 is literally nothing for a good bike, and Carrera are good, so if you're too cheap, you're gonna get cheap, there'll be something .....wrong.

Green grips are a good idea actually, that hadn't crossed my mind yet- cheers! Yup since filming this I've sustained a few more scratches but overall still a rlly clean bike 👌

Yes there is a colour pallet in the car's system. You go into the touchscreen and go into the car settings- there will be an option for interior lighting 👍

@@seanwallace1972 if you drive it as you would a normal Octavia, then yes- about 55-60mpg combined. If you have it in vRS mode, then it drops significantly to around 40mpg so depends what your driving style is like. We had ours until around 55,000 miles and it was still going strong so this one should be solid 💯

@@Poncho202 thank you that’s very helpful,VRS mode can you notice a difference in power etc?are they reliable?

@@seanwallace1972 yes even on the diesel vRS mode quickens the engine response and opens a valve in the exhaust. I'm not sure actually how they do it, but it definitely feels faster in vRS mode. We have had 2 vRS diesels (2011 & 2018) and we've never had any reliability issues with them

If you want straight speed and acceleration, the petrol is the one to go for with the DSG. We had a deisel as we do a lot a miles per year and needed high mpg, again if that's not a priority I'd personally go for the petrol; this is also a couple of thousand extra than the respective deisel though. The deisel is still quick for its kind and has plenty of power though, feel free to watch my follow up video on the vRS TDI to get a sense of what it's like to daily drive 👍
