I never liked the idea of spray foam because of how much hassle it would add to any future repairs.

Do you realize the r-value warranty is 90% going out the door? The r-value will drop due to off gassing.

The instructions say not to run it over 75 percent of it's capacity during the 30 hour break in period.

just had my whole house sprayed floor and walls and fiberglass in ceiling app 12" there (2x8 floor 2x4 walls) ,guys did a great job and i payed them a whopping 2,200 .they did a perfect job leveled walls and floor full and cleaned up better than i think i could have Heat is now under 200 per year .BTW in TN

the only thing I have to say is you might want to put in some wood spacers, the radiant barrier needs an air gap. other than that it looks great guys

That's the only predator with a 230V output, so it will run my well pump. That's the only reason I bought it.

You could use poly tape similar to tape for crawlspace vapor barriers to seal the cracks after filling with foam. Airtight!

Very misleading video. Must have been paid for by the manufacturer. At $90.00 per board, walks only materials would be $3500.00. I spray foam and you are quoting a price for walls and roof and you are only doing walls. Again very misleading about the spray foam industry.

My neighbor did a similar type of insulation in the way that he had an air gap like you guys have on the outside of your insulation and the metal siding. Because of the 2x4’s on the outside of the posts. And he had a lot of condensation on the inside of his metal. So he had to take all his metal siding off and add insulation in-between his 2x4’s on the side of his house. I’m wondering if you’ll have the same problem.

You take a nice convertible like that and chop it up. Damm. I would have loved to have had that car in my collection.

I would have swapped King Tut to a contractor and let him do the work.

I wouldn't use it. I've seen the labor charges involving digging through the crap to find wires or pipes that were covered.

What if you want to make a repair, add electrical or plumbing, add on or make adjustments. In California, termites and water often destroy siding and sheathing. I don't see spray foam in California

So does the board cause or not prevent the condensation to form between the gap? In humid AND cold climates like where I live the sides are dripping unless it's a dry summers day and hasn't rained for a day or so and has had the door wide open for airflow.

After this review, not only am I not upvoting but, I'm unsubscribing and blocking this channel. Why? Because, as a Predator 9500 owner who is beholding to it during and after Helene ... it ran my entire house, including two fridges and two chest freezers, a microwave, and two backup emergency DeLonghi AC floor units, (Yeah, we had 90° weather during the 10 day Helene outtage here in SC.). Now, we have property up on Devil's Lake (Manitou Beach) MI and my Brother lives in Selene plus we have a hunting place up in Hillsdale, not to mention family in St Clair Shores and Traverse City. So I know, for a fact, that most Michigan people are good people with average intelligence or better. But these two clowns are somewhere below the middle of the scale. This video proves it. Not only am I unsubscribing but I'm blocking these two guys from ever wasting my time again. I'm not even wasting a downvote on this video.

Just saw this review and I absolutely disagree. I've run my entire house including on demand water heater, well pump, lights, refrigerator and 3 deep freezes in my shop. Also ran the washer and dryer although not at the same time. Best $2000 I've ever spent.

That R-12 is with the air gap. Check tech specs

3" owens board is 190 a sheet by me at this time. kingspan 2" 55 a sheet. at 55 it would cost me close to 3,000. I can get a do it yourself kit for 800 that should cover everything 2" for 1600 I can get two and would have 4" in most of my building.

Nobody goes to harbor freight to buy a generator for their garage to run high amp equipment. Does the generator run the whole house? Does it run your domestic well pump in the event of an outage? Yes it does. This video is bad and you should feel bad.

I still run a 7.3 it's the best engine that has ever been put in a truck there's 0 debate about that. Address the 4r100 and get a built tranny and truck will live forever What I love most about the Ford is you rarely have to rotate or balance the tires the power train on a Ford does not eat tires like I have seen on the chevy and Dodge.
