Glad i found you Jerm. I just bought a 4216 as i'm doing a kitchen draw reno and want to have dovetails. My dad was a fine cabinet maker in UK and would have chastised me for buying a jig, but time is precious. Have been a week doing (bad) test pieces and trying to figure out how to make fine adjustments to no avail. NOW I see it clearly !! Being an ex machinist I pretty much live with a Vernier Caliper in my hand, have a set of feelers at hand, and deal in thou's not mubble meters. The light bulb went on when you HALVED the protrusion !. Now Im going to whip through this winter project in jig time and have some time left for the boat. Thanks !!

you took that plastic piece whatever it is at the park rndl but you didnt put it back in..or did you? Im trying to figure out how it stays in.

I do similar for my trees, but I use a 9” long, 2 1/4” diameter auger bit on my 18v cordless drill. Works perfectly.

Great job dad. I wish I was back at your age. I’m putting a second in together. It lasted a long time but if you haven’t already found out keep it off the driveway once you get it set up. It will scratch the paint and then that’s where it rusts. But even with that ours lasted a really long time and also was a little bent from the youngest brother getting tossed against it because I didn’t buy them a trampoline.
