My Aunty is knitting a dog sweater at the moment but she had to ask me about the size she should choose (she’s knitting 3 for my cousins dogs one of which is a Jack Russel) so a pattern that is modifiable would be fantastic. My cousins dogs seem to be quite long for small dogs.

Difficult to choose just 3 but I use my Cocoknits makers board every day, sits on the arm of the chair so I can quickly glance at the pattern. Couldn’t live without my jewellery scale for weighing scraps and then it would be stitch markers

Hello Anniken. I do hope all goes well with your parents. It’s quite a stressful time for you. I appreciate your podcast especially at this time. I’m currently making socks but would like to ask you if you’ve ever made bed socks. I would like to make some and I’m thinking perhaps a DK pattern with a sock yarn and mohair. Maybe alpaca with nylon.

I do use Barber cords but i wish they were slippery so that yarn slides onto them and along them more easily. Love the solid ring stitch markers and row counters - use both all the time as well as the light bulb shaped fasteners. My other essentials are notions and project bags and my rotating yarn ball holders. Nothing beats the joy of watching the ball of yarn rotate slowly and dissappear into a project! Happy New Year 🎉

Anniken where I live, I have never seen those colored cords that you use for knitting.

Anniken, I think it would be interesting and fun for you to knit a Dog Sweater and have your dog model it. It would be something different!

My dog doesn't really like sweaters but does enjoy wearing a thick cowl. A few times I'd start a hat and then realise it will be too small but then turns out to be a perfect dog cowl size.

The hats are fantastic. I knitted similar one for myself not long ago and it fits very nice and snuggly, maybe because of double layer. And the bag you are knitting with the advent yarn is gorgeous ❤
