there is arguably no point in not doing it though. Map is in a lull state, no neutrals, different people on both teams are resetting/about to. I don't see how the 15-20secs of tempo could be better than denying some additional gold and xp.

Not exactly. It’s only if they have a higher average champion level and have more turrets in the lane. And the buff is based on how many turrets you have more than the enemy in that lane. But it’s such a negligible buff lol it doesn’t change anything other than if the waves are completely neutral then whoever is ahead’s wave naturally will push if they have destroyed more enemy turrets, which isn’t necessarily a good thing though since it means you will also bleed more CS when not attending waves. And it doesn’t make them tankier or harder to kill, it just makes them deal more damage to and take less damage from the other team’s minions, I think mostly so the lane should rest at a more median position between the towers even when there are towers destroyed.

the buff to minions, unless you are extremely ahead, is very small naturally because of the minion AI. Plus it depends on the team/team comp and game state if thats a good or bad thing. Whatever side that gets the buff you can generally expect that side's minons to "occasionally" (like pretty rarely), push more. We are talking like 2 waves out of a 100 extra from the 50/50

The buff that minions get is so small at this stage of the game that you can only use it when calculating whether the wave is pushing or not. For example, Rekkless used that if the coming waves were both ofc even but the other side creeps were stronger you would automatically know it would be slow pushing before they even contact. The buff is probably the same as auto-attacking once a melee creep and then leaving it to slow push.

the re center camera with space bar is goated thats what i do too, the original key (Y) is just too awkward and you already have your thumb on or near the space almost the entire time. really helps with the camera control in dragging it back up to your POV

"it's literally 75g" except when pros are buying 2 pinks every recall for 8 recalls. now that 75g turns into 1200g and you are sitting on just components for your redemption at 20 minutes while the enemy support is half way to their second item.

@@biveofhalo yea thats obvious, but a challenger player should know, when to use pinks and when the information is more crucial than 75 or 150 gold you can also argue, ok, if you sweap atleast 2 wards, it should compensate for the information you get You cant always compare quanitity values to each other

@@spamonfire1472 If you're countered and you buy a pink you spend 75g to give your opponent 30g. You should only buy them to deny vision when you're winning, so the enemy is perma worried about ganks. You can't defend your pink if you're countered, so it just dies. I wouldn't even buy Control Wards when winning though, you can get more than enough info on the enemy Jungle through good Jungle tracking and deductive reasoning.

Yeah this one is pretty nonsense to me. Like the difference between Steraks and Steraks components is rediculous. Like I would understand if the argument was top laners tend to be functional on 2 items whereas Mid and ADC really prefer 3 items, but if ADC is the other role he thinks should by control wards then this argument still wouldn't apply. Jungle and Support tend to only need 1 item to be functional and roam around the map the most, so it makes sense to me if they are the ones buying control wards, which seems to be the prevailing theory.

he does not get outscaled. he cant be outsmited and he has an insane passive (please read it, its insane). he has aoe slow in teamfights and saying that he gets cc´d is just another way to say "he draws aggro", a stun used on nunu is a stun not used on a carry. also the "if laners respect his ability to gank" is just very funny.

“Respect his early game ganks” impossible task. If you know he’s top side you should not forfeit your lane by giving 2-3 waves just to avoid a gank

His point in bringing up Nami lucian is that supports (or at least enchanters) getting to their first item is way more important than adcs having components (not full item cause enchanter items are way cheaper) so adc should get the control wards. Your point about supports basically stealing 75g of farm from the adc when adc buys a control ward is exactly LSs point with bringing up nami. Supports SHOULD take that farm if theyre gonna stunt their build with control wards. At least thats how i interpret this clip

gold on enchanters is much more valuable to the adc because of the stat multiplication these items provide for them, you would love to run e.g. Sona in Toplane and have her be super farmed for midgame...but u cant cause Riot nerfed the fuck out of solo laning most enchanters, so u want to funnel gold to them optimally, but its hard to do. Enter supports that buy 15 pink wards per game spending 1k gold on that and dont have Redemption/Dawncore etc. Dont rly agree on engage supports unless they rush Locket/Redemption, dunno why a team would want that Warmogs powerspike on a leona earlier, its w/e

@@PlaytheListDude nah Knights Vow and Locket is the early combo for engage supports. knights vow is busted. there's a reason they're wanting to up the cost on it by a lot lol

As someone who has been saying the same thing for a while, the reason you don’t want the support to buy controll wards, is they already have almost no Econ. Legendary items on support still have a lot of power in their completion. Also, this is not about ADCs buying 5 gazilion controll wards, but more like 1 or 2 every 5 minutes. I also think that it doesn’t always have to be the adc either. Sometimes before a teamfight on baron or dragon, having pinks on anyone can be nice. I think ivern bushes become so much more impenetrable, when you have pinkwards in them.

I mean, you generally funnel gold to get to certain item spikes. If you as the adc player notice that you are gonna overshoot your spike for the next important fight, it might make a lot of sense to use that "excess" gold on control wards. And they are probably the class that is most likely to have excess gold. Thats my interpretation at least.

Exactly, twitch chat and people on reddit/twitter were ridiculing some of the Asian teams at worlds for bringing out rulers and shit to measure stuff like distance from monitor because it looks too nerdy but this is a COMPETITIVE game. Its quite literally as nerdy as League can get, and it SHOULD be.
