the 4th clip may as well be impossible to insert. I'm positive I will rip the pads before I apply enough pressure to get it in.

I just soldered back a wire to make the right ear work again, now getting new earpads. Yay! They will be like new once more.

If you are clever, you just remove and replace the ear pads one after another ;-)

If I don't use my headphones for a week or two they get stiff. RUclips is Bass heavy so I'll just play a few songs on RUclips and after about 10 or 15 minutes they seem to loosen up. Then I go back to Deezer and the bass is thumping like it should.

Are they washable?

Those super thin planar magnetic drivers in those headphones were smashed in the end there! Geez😅 Nice ear pads though.

I got the elite velour pads for my DT770 but i feel the bass is noticeably reduced and the highs are way too pronounced. Can I fix it or should I return then? Because I absolutely love the comfort. The stock pads are way too narrow for me

The earpads with a "perforated inside" sound terrible. Focal stock pads do not have this.

My arya stock pads have started flaking and I'm thinking of getting the sheepskin pads, are those real leather and won't flake like faux leather?

I have just received 2 pairs of those, one for me and one for my girlfriend's Bathys. Quite disappointed !! The quality looks great and the texture feels nice, but the sound isolation is worse than the stock !!! My girlfriend noticed it instantly. You have news about the felt that Audeze ships their pads with ? For example for the LCD-X or LCD-GX (to reduce driver pressure). You told me you work on a solution 7 months ago. Would buy one set from you.

I have the Elite Velour, but after a year or so of everyday use, the foam has become sagged or squashed together to the level, that they are only as deep as the originals now. :( I was expecting them to last longer

These are legit. I'm always worried that less treble will mean less energy & bite for the genres that need it but these simply traded in the brightness/air for bass punch/weight. They retain the original sound better than switching source/amp seeking the same change, glad to have the option with a md that can be switched in/out in seconds.

On my second set of the Elite Velour for the HD6XX as of today. Sadly my first set basically disintegrated after a little less than a year (around 11 months) of daily driving. I do wear my HD6XX for a long time each day but I do hope the second set will last me longer than just about a year. Sound-wise they are great, durability-wise I hope I just got a bad batch or something the first time around, because 11 months is even worse than the stock pads.

I want more bass, but also don't want to sacrifice any high detail (brightness). I was already thinking about cutting out your piece of fabric you put on the back. But I'm unsure what pads would offer the best bass, while retaining as much of the highs as possible. I don't want to lose any detail.

Just pay a little more for audeze pads and get way better sound

Much easier than I had been led to believe, on forums. The pry tool and the video makes it much easier. One tip: rotate around the ear pad looking for gaps, and where you find one, pinch the outer ring of the pad inward and down, then back out for it to snap in. There is no need for anything more than light-moderate force so if you find yourself needing more, adjust and start over. I got the fenestrated sheepskin and they are surprisingly similar sound profile to the original. Perhaps ghostly subtle recess of bright treble, equally microscopic increase in presence, slight diet on the boxy/bloaty baritone/midbass. For my particular tastes it's two micro-ups and one micro-down, for an overall gain. That's before we talk about the comfort and feeling of quality, which is all rainbows and unicorns, tip-top, pure excellence, faultless, A++
