I have just received 2 pairs of those, one for me and one for my girlfriend's Bathys. Quite disappointed !! The quality looks great and the texture feels nice, but the sound isolation is worse than the stock !!! My girlfriend noticed it instantly. Pretty insane at this price point, were there ever tested ?
@@speedymaus1711bro, I’m on day 2 using those, they made my Bathys unusable outdoor ! I don’t know if it’s sound isolation alone or if they mess with the ANC, but the performance is bad. Dekoni offered me a refund, but I spent 35$ in international shipping, so I will just try to swap the foam and hope for the best.
@@speedymaus1711 Hey, I did write to the support. They offer a return, but I spend 35$ on international shipping. But anyway, I did a surgery, using the original foam from the stock Bathys earpads and put them in the Dekoni and I got the sound proofing back. So it is a foam spec issue apparently. My complain is that it is very apparent that the sound proofing if worse with the Dekoni. I asked 2 other people to blind test it. So my question remains, did they ever test those pads against the originals ?
@@svoltodesign they even do complete measurements on some popular headphones, because of this. With some ear pads your sound can completely change. For example i bought choice suede for DT1990 because of more bass. If have bought the Velour, it would be other way.
@@speedymaus1711 man, this is also why I got disappointed on this one, but I guess they didn't measure the drop in sound isolation and/or ANC performance. I assumed coming from Dekoni (and at this price), it would be an upgrade and not a downgrade. Well, now it's fixed with a little of DIY ...
