Much easier than I had been led to believe, on forums. The pry tool and the video makes it much easier. One tip: rotate around the ear pad looking for gaps, and where you find one, pinch the outer ring of the pad inward and down, then back out for it to snap in. There is no need for anything more than light-moderate force so if you find yourself needing more, adjust and start over. I got the fenestrated sheepskin and they are surprisingly similar sound profile to the original. Perhaps ghostly subtle recess of bright treble, equally microscopic increase in presence, slight diet on the boxy/bloaty baritone/midbass. For my particular tastes it's two micro-ups and one micro-down, for an overall gain. That's before we talk about the comfort and feeling of quality, which is all rainbows and unicorns, tip-top, pure excellence, faultless, A++
My problem is with the Meze NEOs and Noir pads. They are impossible for me to re-attach. I just had one fall off of my Noirs, and I've gone ahead and bought a new pair because otherwise they're useless to me.
Our Sheepskin earpads are real leather and will have better longevity compared to pleather. Pleather lasts about 2 years or so, real leather can easily reach a decade.
was dreading doing this but it was surprisingly straight forward

My arya stock pads have started flaking and I'm thinking of getting the sheepskin pads, are those real leather and won't flake like faux leather?

Is this identical with the HE1000 series?
Yes, similar mount.
Any idea when arya pads will be restocked with your Canadian dealers (eflc)?
Sorry, we do not have an estimate for this. Please reach out to electronics for less to see if they will be restocking soon.
Is this also for the Arya Organics?
Yes~
Hi, will the same ones work for the Edition XS?
Yes they are also compatible with the Edition XS
what its that number for ? inside earpads 1011344?
Serial number
Will these fit the Ananda Nano?
Good Question, we will have to confirm with our friends at Hifiman
My guess is yes. A change to the design would unnecessarily increase costs and inventory, for no good reason really.
If you are clever, you just remove and replace the ear pads one after another ;-)
