Maybe a weird thing to comment on - because the Warband looks fantastic as well - but the mix of the dissonant music and rainfall sounds in the background created this odd juxtaposition of relaxation and unease while watching the video. Set a perfect mood for Trench Crusade!

This was a nice calm and soothing video to watch, especially with my anxiety being elevated. The griming it all up was super satisfying to watch for me lol. It feels so much more authentic to having to fight in the trenches that way. You also stated in your vid something I was thinking, the fact you were purposefully not being too careful with application of the black ended up helping give the metal bits more of a weathered look. Well done as always, bruv! Hope you're feeling better as well, can't wait till the next vid!

Hell yeah! Russian fans of Trench Crusade, myself included, are starving for some representation. There is some in trench pilgrims with all the icons they wear, but this is definetely better. Also, does cavalry have a place in the game rulewise? It had a place in WW1 after all, especially on the eastern front which was not so trench-heavy.

I was seriously looking forward to this. I love the custom lore you have given each unit as well as the warband itself. You never cease to impress, bruv! Definitely looking forward to the painting video but I adore just how grime-covered and muddy the troops are. It really exemplifies just how gritty and dirty on field fighting is for them, not to mention just trudging through landscapes themselves. Made my bad day a little brighter seeing the notification pop up. Edit: How many containers of your grime and oil did you have to go through for those figures alone?

I'd definitely would like to attempt to kitbash my own feudal world themed Chaos Cultists, I'm thinking of using medieval era miniatures from either Victrix or Perry Miniatures and mix in some Chaos Cultist/Imperial Guard bits Just imagine a Chaos worshipping medieval Knight equipped with more advance weaponry that were previously looted from other worlds

So cool. Really has powerful "survivors of Mordheim" vibe. They didn't _used_ to be "Beastmen", but they are now. Thanks to the magic of glowing green rocks of concentrated Chaos. As an aside, the aesthetic of animal skulls on top of "normal" bodies is one I've recently wanted to do as part of a Malal daemons army. Sticking animal skulls onto the Satyr bodies from RGD Gaming. As a means of effectively bringing the obscure (even by Malal standards) "Claws of Malal" (read: Malal-aligned Beastmen) into the army as basic troops. With models from Knightmare Miniatures, in the style of the old Realms of Chaos books, to fill out the rest of the force. I haven't pulled the trigger on that, simply because I have enough projects on my plate as is. But it's one I'd love to tackle sometime in the future.

It was worth the wait for the Ungors! I'm loving your take on them! I am also loving the fact you're incorporating mutated/body horror elements into them as well, it adds to that unsettling vibe that I love so much. Gods imagine seeing something like that crest a hill during a battle.
