Ride Right Waxing

Добавлен 11 июн 2019
I am a Devon ski and snowboard waxing service and repair workshop. Also summer snowboarding on my Onewheel, why not ride with me.
I love everything about winter sports. I could not be any further from the mountains, but I just try and become involved with anything to do with the world of skiing and snowboarding/ Onewheeling, Just so I can stay close to my passion and try to live out my dreams.
I have found the world of Onewheeling with my Best friend Tom. as it the nearest thing to snowboarding I could find for dry land. I would like to think we have come along way on our abilities. why not watch back though the channel as see how we have progressed.
I love to review things, from unboxing new stuff and giving my real honest thought on it, to using it every day and reviewing how to fix stuff. I love and bring knowledge to others in the hope that they would find it helpful.
Let’s see where this journey takes us together. So please subscribe and come on the journey with me.

Nice work. And thank you for the shoutout. ❤
Hi RideRightwaxing & UKOneWheel, just uploaded video of the alternative to raptor. cheers Marty.
Hi Marty just watched it. Thank you so much 👍👍👍
Worst job stripping paint but it looks like you're nearly there, Wurth makes a stone chip paint it's acrylic based so you can wash the gun out just with water, Rally guys are using it around me and rate it, no isocyanate like you get in rapter so you can spray in your garage, and It's cheaper, I have just bought some and will be doing a video soon. Glad you're getting some nice weather. we are lucky and blessed with dry warm weather we're we live, but it has been cold and wet lately. Keep up the good work. Cheers Marty
Thanks Marty I will look into this stuff 👍👍👍
Hi ant, I just pm'd you on messenger buddy 🚗😃
Thanks buddy for your help.
Buy a mic.
Agreed🤙🏼🤙🏼
Yeah could do it that way would save running another line, I went with two lines because that's what was on the car originally, the larger 3/8 is the return back to the tank, my regulator is variable as running a turbo, so starts around 3 1/2 psi on idle and increases with boost, there is an extra pipe running from plenum to regulator. Cheers Marty
Thanks Marty 👊🏻👊🏻
Got to say I’m really not looking forward to doing this, but it’s inevitable. Mine is the same age as yours. It needs it. lol.
I don't know if you're doing it, but when I did mine I removed all the rubber bungs in the front and rear floor and welded them up.
Yes I am doing that. 👍👍👍
There's not much point in having them, they're only good for draining water out of the car. You said you're going to weld up the windscreen wiper holes on the scuttle. I'll send you some pictures what I did later on today.
@@kingrolovtec that would be amazing. Thanks buddy. 👍
All done today and in the next vid 💪💪
I see you say you got carried away, you forgot to mention that some idiot with an orange mini suggested to fit an internal pedal linkage 🫣 having watched your adventures I’m really glad I didn’t now.
Oh yes Nick I forgot it was you. 🤣🤣🤣 thanks for that 🤣🤣🤣🤣👍👍👍👍
Well done mate. Looks like proper hard shitty work. I want “a few moments later” clip when you finally finish this beast. 😂👍👍
Thanks mate I didn’t manage to get out on the bike this week. 🤣🤣
I think I would be tempted to paint the roof first with black fabric paint to get rid of those marks as you won't ever get an opportunity to do it again as it cant be painted onto silicon. The beading aspect is impressive but does it still allow the fabric to breathe? It was my impression that it isn't the fabric that is supposed to be waterproof but the rubber layer beneath??
Oh yes it’s a tent fabric so it is breathable and to be honest it’s worn off already. You have to do it every year so I will try the dye aspect this year and I might video it because it was something I thought about afterwards so you have a great mindset, thank you for reminding me. There is a rubber membrane underneath but it’s just nice if the water sits on top and beads off as here in the UK it rains a lot and I like to drive as much as I can with the roof down. So after 5 minutes of driving the roof is dry. Thanks for the comment 👍👊🏻
260 mile range from a 90kWh battery is pretty poor. Is it possible to get more range with more efficient driving?
That’s all it gives and at the time of the recording I was getting electric for 4p per Kw 👍👍
I looking for Buy one 2007 brown for only 400$🙏
Good work mate. 👍
Don't understand how there are so many views and such little feedback. This is a great, step by step video. It''s super informative on the techniques and explains the theory behind each step.
Thanks so much. I love your comment. Very much appreciated 👊🏻👍
Hi my friend, looks like your having fun, here's a few answers to your questions, use a mpi fuel tank because it has a return fitment in it, you don't need to modify rear subframe, the fuel tank should bolt straight in after your boot floor mods, fuel lines are 3/8" and 5/16" this way you can use AN fittings, you can use p clips every 300mm for fixing lines, interior lines have to be continuous from rear bulkhead to front bulkhead, use bulkhead fittings, the larget fuel pipe is return line, you will need high pressure fuel pump for the injectors to operate, I have posted a couple of videos of me installing fuel lines on my son's classic rally mini build, which is going to run injection to. Hope this all helps, cheers Marty
Wow thanks so much for all this information. Love your channel I will go and have a look. Really appreciate it. 👊🏻👊🏻🫶🏻👍
3/8” fuel line will supply more fuel than your engine will ever need. But more is better than not enough. 5/16” will also be adequate for about 150-180bhp@ 3 bar. Also you don’t need a return line although you can run one. To go without a return, You can run a dead head system so the pump and regulator and return all in the boot and just 1 feed pipe going up to the engine.
brilliant video thanks for that i was really struggling on what to get love the oil too
I am in the middle of redoing it again this year🤣 I’m gonna oil the whole deck this time.
🤢this camera angle is so baaad.
Never used that Angel since. But needed one less thing to concentrate on as it was my first time.👍👍👍
Garden looks amazing ignore negative comments most of it jealousy
Thanks so much 👌
Just curious thinking about doing this to my soft top how long before I have to apply it again
I reapply every year, but between coats I left it approximately an hour and a half as it was a very hot day👍
That’s a good hack!
Hi , I love your deck 😍, actually all your garden. Natural wood colour looks so nice! Can I ask you what measurement is your firepit cut off part, please? It looks so cosy there.
Thanks for the compliments on the garden the fire pit is 1.2 square. 👍👍
@@RRW thank you 😊
Sorry about your dad, prayers for your family. Thanks for the great video. Keep them up!
Thank you for your kind words
Hi. Is the decking oil like a rusty water?, I bought a tin a few years back and it was like a rusty water and had a strong chemical smell and it was great , then bought a similar tin as couldn’t find the same one and it was more like a brown paint consistency with no smell but wasn’t as good
The only one I can think of is the oil I use called natural oak that was like rusty water but it didn’t have a chemical smell and to be honest I wasn’t too keen on the look of it and the weathering of it has turned the decking quite grey over a 12 month period more so compared to the other two oils that I used.
Thanks for replying, garden looks class btw
I'm having this issue and my screws were pretty tight
It most probably will be the Loctite on the bolt, so once you get the bolt slightly loose work it backwards and forwards in the sense tighten it and loosen it simultaneously this way the bolt will release easier👍
They look fantastic as always . Many thanks.
❤❤❤
All deck oils and stains are just petroleum based plastic coatings. 'Deck oils' don't actually deposit any oil into the wood, it all evaporates soon after application. 'Weathering' is just the plastic coating visibly deteriorating. If you ever want to actually have oil fill up your deck's wood pores, a linseed oil stain is about the only product capable.
Great feedback and detail thank you. That’s why it doesn’t last very long. 👍
@@RRW yes, also why repeated coats of even thin stains build up and peel.
Sorry but this made me laugh out loud 🤣 what are the chances of actually landing in the puddle… you need a buoyancy aid if you do that again 😂
Love it 🤙
get a dropper post be perfect
Great decking, looks “ as new “ . I’ve probably left my decking too long ( caravan decking in Norfolk ) and it’s gone that “grey” colour you were trying to avoid. Seems like I’ll now have to go with some form of stain and not a clearer looking Oil. Any suggestions , do or don’ts ?? Many thanks
I’ve had grey decking before just make sure the decking is nice and moist and wet. It’s always best to power wash the decking on a day of rain or after a day of rain. If you don’t mind getting wet this way, it’s softens the wood so it cleans up easier. I’ve managed to pull grey decking back to look half decent. You just need a great power wash. A lot of patience and a strong back.😂👍
I also had a very grey weathered decking, I used Ronseal wood cleaner and reviver and it worked brilliantly. I did it twice, ones with a bristle and a garden hose only, and a one week later with pressure washer. My grey and green colour on deck has dissapeared. Try it!
Just ordered the exact same bike today. Love the satin with gold. Can't wait for the call from the shop to pick it up. I'm glad to see that yours came with the mastermind tcu. Some 23's don't seem to have it even though Specialized says it comes on the 23 model.
Now I have ridden it. I can say the. Bike is truly amazing. I love it. Enjoy your bike, I am excited for you .
Just bought the same exact bike in store!! 🙌 Super excited to get it out and about!! Ordered the ridewrap matte tailored kit today. @RRW, how did your wrap turnout on the matte colored bike frame? Did you do a gloss or matte wrap on the bike? Curious how the frames matte paint looked after installing the wrap 🤔 Thanks for making this video!! Sorry bout the coffee in the beginning 😮🤪🤣
@@dshizznit9385 the bike is amazing I ordered gloss by accident. But still fitted it. So good as it just add a bit of protection and when the winter comes you will feel better when it covered in mud knowing you have a layer of protection 👌👍👍👍
second that, the strip discs are awesome they don't last that long is the only downside, Citristrip is meant to be good haven't tried it yet but have bought some in readiness for my next project, Citristrip is supposed to be harmless with a nice lemon smell, check it out on youtube. with the welding set your feed speed to the thickness of metal your welding and then adjust your voltage to find the sweet spot, welding tips and tricks is an awesome site that explains how to. cheers Marty
Hi, So Keith Miller on his channel...'Classic mini workshop' used the 4inch Poly Strip disc abrasive wheels. And he said he had got them off of Ebay. I've just searched it myself and there are obviously various suppliers. Think he just used the black ones and said they are very good at getting the paint off without damaging the metalwork underneath. Hope this helps... Cheers Andy 😊
You are a legend thanks so much 👍👍👍
Yes you can get wire wheels that will fit straight on your angle grinder from Toolstation that’s were I got all mine for doing my mini , hope that helps .
Thanks buddy just popped to Toolstation and picked one up👍👍 thanks so much for commenting 👊🏻
Is that a supped up one 😊
Yes 👍
Hi, just found this video, awesome video and very intuitive, we are currently building a classic mini for club sport and just about to start putting in an internal gearshift ourselves so this has been a real help. Thanks man this was my first season on the slopes I didn’t even know I had to any kind of maintenance to my snowboard 😅
My pleasure mate hope you had a great season . It’s the best drug being on the snow. ❄️
Would you say this bike is easy to assemble. I’m in two minds to mail order for a bit cheaper or stick with the one I’ve put aside ☺️
Yes easy to put together. I have had to bleed the brakes after a few rides 👍 I did do the same as I saved a lot of money. 👍 the bike Is totally excellent.
I need this service
Thank you very much . Waiting for the sun to come out and it's going to be fabsil time in my bmw. Thanks again for the video🙏
Just discovered this video due to ordering an ipace recently. Sorry to hear about your dad mate. How powerful was that charger at the end? I’m not new to EVs so have some sort of idea but that charger must have been a slow one (or working slowly) for a near 4 hour charge time? You are using the CCS plug there so have thought it would be quicker?
Thanks for your comment. The charger at the end was a 25 kW charger. But since it has been made I have been using 50 to 100 kW charges and boy that has made the world a difference in the speed of charging.
Hi. Thanks for the video great help. I am using Fabsil for the first time. A question. Do you apply the Fabsil 1 ore 2 times after another??
Yeah I applied it once let it dry because it was quite sunny and then started again from the other side. I was not stingy with the application. I felt the more I put on the better it would be👍👍
Just ordered this exact bike. So stoked!!
It’s an amazing bike. I love it. 👍👍
Just ordered mine, can't wait to try them out😊

Total agree 👍
Amazing work. I'm just curious how much this would cost. Seems like a lot of work.
It would be £40 for this. 👌👍👍👍
