This gave the local herd deerabetes
I love the signal stick but I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to remove the antenna because the GMRS pro does data.
If you are hunting WV that stuff is going to attract way more bears than you will deer more than likely! Good luck brother!!!!
Typically city fork going on a "hunting trip" needs to bait like crazy because they know no other way.
Have you heard about deer disease and what do you think about it? CWD , saw it on the news , that’s for the video
Whats the weight for the sugar, salt, Brown sugar and baking soda?
You put that "deer attraction" at a bear baits site? 😅
No bears where I put it
Down here in the south, deer would run away from that but the Hogs would come charging in to eat all that
You'd see me eating it
Now you have a deer with high blood pressure and diabetes
Looks like a cool light ,I will check it out. Thanks for the information.
You bet
Dumbest thing Ive seen in a while. Good grief
I'm 6 ft 4 in tall and the only thing that was comfortable for me was the Rhino 500 I was able to move around they also don't last in the field less than one season it's pretty pathetic how things are made these days so chintzy for the price
You're not wrong. They typically don't last very long if you're a heavy user of them
@@TheRealOutdoors $350 dollars and it's now a convertible.... I was not impressed let alone the costumer service which they had zero. So I'll continue using crap until I can afford something less .... crap
Dont forget to stain the wood to keep it from going rotten
for 30 bucks you could have got 150 pounds of corn
Nice video. Nothing like hunting in the Texas hill country.
Where did you acquire this knowledge friend?
The deer I hunt would spot that from a mile away
Why the baking soda?
I know with goats it helps the rumen will keep the ph balanced so they don't bloat or get belly aches I'm assuming it's the same for deer 🤔
I had over 80 pics a night on my cam. I put this out and I haven’t had one in three days. I went and checked the cam to make sure it was still there and the gps and cell service was working. It took pics of me walking in. I guess Mississippi deer don’t like it at all.
So..order one size up. Thank you👍
Corn
Back in the 70’s we use to hunt in below freezing temperatures regularly, a lot of times in the teens, we had an ice storm in 1975 opening day day, back then we hunted in log blinds, we froze many times. This was in Gillespie county.
Before helene hit us in wnc, the deer took off and have stayed gone. They would bed down in our yard and in my garden. But about 3 or 4 days before she hit us, they ran for the hills. I just hope they come back. Cause I spent quite a bit this year in preparation...
Cut up apples works
I call bullshit
I did this last year and now they want needles and insulin this year
Question...What does the baking soda do?
Provides minerals
Candied corn? Hello bears!
Or hogs…fortunately we don’t have a problem with either one in this area
and how do you use it?
I added it to a bucket of corn and spread it on the ground
@@TheRealOutdoors Thank you very much! I'm hunting for the first time in my life this deer season in NC and solo by the way.
@@darkcitadel0833 Good luck!
My family hunted the hill country for decades, mostly in Gillespie county, my brother now hunts in mason county. I bought a place in Coleman County a few years back, it’s a lot like the mason area. There’s nothing like hunting the Texas hill country.
Awesome!
Baking soda?
It's to help with the stomach gasses. Keeps them from getting heartburn basically.
I carry both on my belt. Yep. At the same time. Why.? Redundancy. If i lose one I've got the other. If a tool breaks on one I can finish the job with the tool on the other. The weight doesnt bother me. Im still strong for a 73 year old.
💪🏽🇺🇸🏹
NON hunter here and proud non-gun owner too. Didn't know that deer like so much sugar. I wonder how many of them are wandering around with diabetes, right about now😂😂?
👎
Rule ten!!!
Is this legal in WV ?
On private land in the year I did it, yes.
better yrt get you a muntjack
go west and hunt coues deer
According to the Florida Freshwater Fish and Game, the Florida deer have been being bred by deer migrating into Florida from Georgia and Alabama for decades. This is causing the size of Florida deer to be larger than normal, and is also bringing a risk of the Florida native deer being bred into extinction.
Swiss tool x!
Do you just pour it out on the ground?
I added it to a bucket of corn and then dumped it on the ground
If you dump it on the ground make sure you are no where near it, like above it in a tree stand or near it in a ground blind. DNR consider this as bait and that is illegal in WV, you cannot hunt over bait. You can only use bait on private land.
@@dannypriceii4154 Correct and this was on private land. 🤦♂
@@TheRealOutdoors Did you have any luck in harvesting a deer? I wish the people that wrote the “wildlife laws” would revamp/change some of the laws they are ridiculous. A lot of people hunt for the “meat” to feed their families, one deer yields a lot meat to use in many different ways and if you have several hunters in your family and each gets one or two, you will save money since you don’t need to go to the grocery store for meat and that usually last from season to season. Make sure to have a generator so when you lose power you don’t lose all the meat and hard that goes into filling the freezer. Thank you the recipe I will be trying, will other flavors of Koolaid work?
@@TheRealOutdoors Sir you also have a new subscriber.
I’m in WV😎
Totally awesome
Contact Victorinox--I bet they give you a new lens for free.
I will try that. Thanks!
Buck-EEE’s!!!!!
I like these replaceable blade knives but I seem to get fat and blood and hair up into the crevice that the blade slides into and its a pain to clean it out, also needs at least 2-3 blades to fully dress a deer and that's being careful not to cut too much hair or hit bones. I have a Buck 102 Woodsman that I fully dressed and processed 4 deer with before it needed to be resharpened and its not that large or heavy of a knife. If they could get these blades to hold an egde better for longer that would be great for now I am going back to my buck fixed blade
Long press the small mode button for instant red light.
Leatherman has harder steel for the knife, so it stays sharper longer and is harder to sharpen. Victorinox uses softer steel so their knives lose sharpness faster and are easier to sharpen. The diamond file on the Wave is great; the other side is a joke, and they have the sense not to try to call the "serrated" edge a saw. The file on the Swiss Champ is far more aggressive, and the saw edge of the file is a real saw. The Wave's "file" will last much longer, though, as the coarse side of the Waves file is useless so I don't use it. The screwdrivers on Leatherman tools are better, in that they are ground. Victorinox polishes almost all their tools, and thus the straight screwdriver blades are rounded at the sides, corners and edges, making them more likely to slip and damage the screw or the users's hand. The Wave has the edge for the interchangeable screwdriver tips. No question. All Victorinox tools and knives have a separate spring for each tool, so they are easier to access individually. That makes the Swiss Champ much easier to use than the Wave. In short; if you want a harder blade that will stay sharp longer, or pliers with replaceable cutters, or the extra screwdriver tips, choose Leatherman. And if you want tools that you'll use every day, go for the Swiss Champ. I have all both and the Swiss Champ is my daily drive of choice for my office job. Its pliers are my staple remover; I've used the fish scaler to get jammed paper out of the printer; I use the magnifier for reading the small type of the prices at the grocery store (the price per gram or ounce)); I've used the pen when I was outside my office just need to initial something but didn't have a pen; it's just more useful more often than the Wave. For hardcore outdoors use, I'd go with the Wave on my belt; it's probably more durable. And I'd have the extra screwdriver bits in my pack - right beside my Swiss Champ. And my SwissTool Spirit would be in the tent or the car, in case I need a backup tool or second set of pliers.
