That's all you need on a hiking trail right - your water filter/purifier dying on you. Btw, my Sawyer did the same thing, as in stopped working after short-term storage. I had to soak it in vinegar to get it working, but at least I caught the issue BEFORE I went outdoors. Anyway, I'm with you ----> how do you stick with a product like Sawyer when products like Katadyn BeFree exist? I'm buying 3 of these Katadyn filters today - they look kick ass. No more sawyer from me. Tx for vid.
Sawyer Mini Review 2022 model: These minis don't fit on ANY plastic water bottles. I think this is by design. I saw old videos of them fitting on smart water bottles but the minis we bought didn't even fit on a CNOC bag. The threads were trash, didn't fit pepsi bottles, smart bottles, aquafina, dysani, etc... Nothing threaded with the mini. Amazing video. My wife and I are brand new hikers not even hit the trails but these minis are trash. Thanks for the video.

Tirn off the background mysic. We came to hear you, not fight the mysic. It Is beyond me why RUclips content creators play music over their voice. Many folks have hearing disabilities thus to understand you we must concentrate on your voice and at the same time concentrate on tuning out the music; frustrating.

Couple years later and I still love the BeFree and it’s never failed me
