      I do not at this time but to set your xyz to center you have to adjust your manufacturing setup. its pretty easy to do. I'll look at making a short video.

    FYI: This does not work on the free version of Fusion 360, you will get an error. Kind of hard to learn the software when many of the functions are disabled.

    I would leave the protection on so you don't get finger prints on it... Oorr wait till right before shipping and then pull it and pack it for shipping. Edit: the Etsy store didn't have this in there.

    • @jasonlong30
      @jasonlong30 2 года назад

      Thank you for your response. If this was a finished product then I would leave the protection film on but these are just router template to stick to wood with double sided tape so the surface finish doesn't have to be perfect but I do package them in bubble wrap so they do not get scratched in shipping. Have a good day!

    for 1/16th bits i find bitsbits long reach 1/16th bit is a nice bit to use. that 1/16th bit looks like it only has a depth of .25? max? I use 1/16th bits A LOT. Also have a short 1/16th and a ball nose 1/16th all made from bitsbits/ whiteside Freud does make some really good bits as well. i like freud for my router table bits for my onefinity i stick with bitsbits But you do run yours much faster then my setup. i have not broken any bits yet. been a year last month. my depth is set to .03125 most the time. I follow the rule your depth of cut should in most cases be 1/2 the diameter. I will say i have become a bitsbits fan boy. I really feel they have taught me a lot with the support team they have when i would call with questions. was really nice them standing next to me when i was starting out along with onefinity support.

    • @jasonlong30
      @jasonlong30 2 года назад

      depending on the bit type and coating you can run 1 x d depth but you need to keep in mind of your heat/ friction that is being made by the bit spinning. as long as you stay within the parameters a company suggests you should never break a bit. I only break bits when I drop them and they hit the concrete floor. yup they will break easily like that.

    What feed and speed did u use?

    • @jasonlong30
      @jasonlong30 2 года назад

      With acrylic - cast I run between 70-110 ipm. I use 1x dia for depth of each pass. 0.004-0.006 ipt. I always run 2 to 3 finishing passes at 0.005 to clean up edges so there is less sanding and polishing the edges. These numbers are based off amana tool 51511-k is the bit I use. its a 0-flute spektra coated bit for plastic.

    I do the same Jason, don't understand why some struggle using the original wrenches that come with the router. The nice thing is if the wrenches have too big of a stretch to palm them, you flip the larger one over and it usually will offset it closer so you have the reach now to squeeze them back. In my opinion It's much better then the 2 hand smash! thanks again for posting.. Bill

    Boring as heck, and you're horrible at determining the thickness of your project. I can use a wasteboard for two years and have less than half of your deep gouges.

    • @jasonlong30
      @jasonlong30 3 года назад

      thank you for your comment. I use the same g-code to cut my cribbage boards. I have boards that are 3/4" thick, 5/8" thick and 1" thick so I get gouges in MDF like that but it doesn't give me issues with my product. I have now started using double sided tape more then clamps or screws. Sorry that my video's are boring to you. Please feel free to check out the 100's of other woodworking/ cnc videos that are out there.
