Today we dive into the hidden stories of Korean women’s struggles after WWII and the Korean War 🇰🇷💔. From working as Taxi Dancers in bustling clubs, to becoming War Brides seeking stability with American soldiers ; from the traditions of the Kisaeng entertainers, to the trauma of Comfort Women , these women faced unimaginable challenges. 😢
We’ll also uncover the lesser-known plight of "Yankee Princesses", the Comfort Women servicing the GIs seen in camp towns around American military bases.
