😢 😢 😢 I also couldn't access the audio... are you studying with this textbook by yourself or with a teacher? How come there are no CD in your book? Have you tried getting the mp3 files from the Publisher's website?

@ you don't have where do reproduce? Sorry do you mean you don't have anything to play the CD? If you have the CD you don't need a QR code

@ Oh I see, it will be harder to get help then... did you get to intermediate level just studying by yourself? that's impressive!!

It's nice that this book seems good for self study but I think I have enough textbooks collecting dust 😂😂. It would be so nice if there were online classes to take Korean but for whatever reason that seems hard to setup (I see on iTalki they're trying but the interest is minimal)

Lol I have the same problem!! Sooo many textbooks and sometimes I look at them and think "I have now passed that level so I don't even need to use this textbook but I have hardly opened it" 😅🥲 and two second later i'd be online shopping for yet another textbook haha 😆
There are a few online classes, even by well known Unis (not cheap though) but yes, most of the classes online are for beginners and it becomes harder and harder to find as one progresses in their language journey 😔

I think I can only do textbooks with other people and there's nobody to study with. But I can attack native material even though my Korean sucks. Do you have any reviews or recommendations for native material be it RUclips channels, books, or anything?

It depends what you like to read? Webtoons are free and easier, I also have a secondary YT account where I only watch korean native content, like I like "I live alone" because you follow a Celebrity's day in their home and other people are commenting, it's no big deal so you don't need to understand it all. Also I recently realised that Disney+ on the contrary of Netflix has Korean subs on all their content which is nice to be in full immersion but with the help of the subs.
In terms of books, actually I have been thinking of starting my own "Korean book reading club for Korean learners" kinda thing with making on video per chapter of a book discussing the content in both the story and the korean and hopefully people would join along but it's super niche and a lot of work esp to make it regularly so I am hesitating a bit.
I was thinkinf of starting with "'I Want to Die but I Want to Eat Tteokbokki" by Baek Sehee because it's quite short and mostly dialogue so a dit easier than a book with loads of descriptions... Do you think it would be a good idea?
Yeah because they are meant to be used in a group setting sometimes it can be hard to use textbook when studying alone...
also I just wanted to see it's always lovely to see you comments Paul thank you for writing them, here and on my other videos 🥰

@@kimincoree Just pick whatever book you enjoy. If you just talk about books/RUclips channels/k-drama that you like I think it would be great. A chapter by chapter in depth look at a book does sound interesting but a lot of work so maybe one video per book would be ok? Personally I like whatever content you put out so it doesn't matter to me.
