Pushing my broken GMC Box Truck with little Jeep YJ.
Very nice!
Wow you must of got that Jeep for Free the way you cut that thing up. A lift would have solved all your problems.
great build. nice to see a backyard build not sponsored and a huge budget.
How can I get in touch with you?
I bought this truck a few months ago. Previous owner passed away. Is there a way i can reach out to you and get some info about it?
A 2-4” lift helps too.
I has a 73 CJ instead of cutting the body for wheel clearance I made 6" body lifts and it was a lot faster and looked great However nice Job I just bough a1995 YJ it only has a 4 cylinder i don't think I will add larger tires because of the loss of power it will cost on the undersize motor greet video
Was your carpet glued to the floor? I got a 95 YJ the other day and I was thinking of removing said carpet but I noticed it was glued down.
Saying that is “No Lift” with those extended shackles is ridiculous.
Jeep rules!
Приветствую, может есть инстаграм посмотреть на фото этого ежа?
This better be an off-road only Jeep… cause you took away stability for flex lol
Love ur jeep men good job thank u for this video
Im doing a yj 8.8 rear and stock in front im about to cut and measure bcs this set up i love the way looks
From 👍
Have you made any progress on this project? This is an awesome idea.
ЗиЛ-130
Nice
Ummm...not a fan of the cut and tweek on the ole yj...to each there own
I am going to start my YJ soon. will be doing the hi line part of this as I want to keep body as low as possible.
What about a cheap and simple shackle and/or body lift? You wouldn't have ruined the hood and side profile. Now the sheet metal doesn't even match. Sorry man. But that was the WRONG thing to do. You butchered it.
How much did you get it for and how much did it cost you to restore?
What’s your exhaust setup?
I'm sorry bud but that ain't no build its a half ass lazy way of putting some big tires on . Here's a idea rip the tub off check frame an fix what's needed an tub then flip the leaf springs to the top of the axles front an rear get lockers an a snorkel an make new skid plates list can go on if ya r really into building it but all u have there right now is a mall crawler that ain't a build so no u ain't getting a pat on the back fir being lazy an trying to go on like u worked your guts out to build a nice rig better yet give it to me ill show ya how its done bud
that front end looks absolutely digusting 🤢🤢🤢 you would have been better off buying aftermarket crawler fenders
A great video, however, I tried 35s on my YJ for a short time. Immediately I could tell the larger diameter tire was causing issues when trying to Stop the Jeep rapidly. I decreased the size tire back to a 33 X 12.50 - 15 tire with the solid 10 inch wide tread stance and found a good medium. I did not have to upgrade the brakes on my stock axles.
Bro you got hella haters that’s what sup! nice rig bro👍😂✊
Looking forward to the build video. I have 2 YJs, one lifted and one stock. And I love the looks of yours. I too like the low dollar rigs A tricked out Rubicon can go about anywhere but to get a tiny open diff 4 banger to make it…. Now that’s fun! Keep wheelin’ bud
That turned out to be a nice jacked up low rider..would have been easier to just put a spring lift under it..you chopped up the whole jeep to fit around those used tires .
The front looks similar to the original Willy's jeep now.
Awesome
Wow destroyed a YJ
2 minutes in and you're still playing that horrible music. SMH 17 minutes later... Wtf? You are a licensed DEALER?
Lol looks worst
17:20 sounds like he’s hitting it with a hammer, other then the song tho great restoration! im planning to do mine similar
Either way its looks good with the doors off
At first look on the pic it appears you just took off the top and doors and put some different tires and rims on it
How to destroy a jeep in 20 minutes. How in da hell do you think this looks good? Or even functional.
A lift kit would have been waaaaayyyy easier
What’s the name of the song before the last one?
The fukn bump stops hahah
Look at shackles definitely not a "NO LIFT"
Paused it at 4:39 to take a good look. They look like the factory stamped shackles to me.
Bricoleur du dimanche 👎🏻
That was fun to watch… we had one back in the day… wish we still did…
Nice ;-) How is the D35 holding up?
For past 2 years nothing broke yet. You don’t need a tons for 35s.
wow - this is such horror torture for the restoration jeep crowd. really wish you hadn't sliced it all to pieces. That's gotta be the cleanest YJ interior I've ever seen (resto's not included, obviously) - you were so close to being able to easily do a factory restore and it would have been worth 3x what it is the you did it - and the really sad thing is it's no loner a candidate to do that. *facepalm*
Any chance you still got them stock wheels? I’m in GA, & I’m looking for a set of 5.
Красота!
Тулит?
По прямой не особо быстрый а вот в поворотах раскрывается. Как раз то для чего создан. Очень хорошо.
I love YJs and TJs and usually, I love watching Jeep restorations/rebuilds, but I honestly had a hard time watching this video. I cannot believe you hacked up that Jeep like that; why didn't you just do a body lift or shock lift instead of destroying the body? To each their own I guess......... any value that had as a YJ is completely gone now.
Yes that was a HUGE value on it before. I did it for myself not to sell, and I like it a lot now. You can have yours bone stock and sell it for 5k in 20 years. I would rather use mine every day and enjoy it.
Yeah, i mean this is still reversable i guess...
Personally I would have just put aftermarket fenders but to each their own. Some guys take pride in knowing they fabbed everything themselves.
