My final project for my second semester in collage. Try to ignore the audio buzz. At the time there wasn't a good way of transferring massive 30MB files from the NLE computer to another, so my project was exported to a S Video VHS tape and recaptured, where it picked up the buzz and VHS artifacts.

Yep LV1s don't play nice with Lithium at 50%
I mean any type of battery at less than 50%. For instance I can take a 9V from my DM4, that was working fine, and put it in my LV1.1 and it won't shoot even though it reads 50%.

Clean the glue off both thread sections. Then add a lil blue loctite to the threads and reinstall. Let dry and then the whole thing should come out easy peasy!
Thanks for the suggestion. That was actually the second thing I was going to try. The first thing I did was I warmed up the outside area of the barrel threads and I was able to spin it off by hand with a strap wrench for grip. Wasn't nearly as bad as I thought it was going to be at the time I made the video.

@@highflyer13131 Oh no, I never thought about destroying it. I'm going to loctite it back together and it'll be better than new.

This specific generation of Pipe can only be bought on the used market, but if you go to the Freeflow website you might find something you'll like there too.

When I was toying around with anodizing in my kitchen on broken guns, at the beginning I had similar results as shown here. So, I can tell from my experience, this one is bad, even for my kitchen standards 😅. And yes, you can change tolerances. If you prep aluminum, the first step can eat way too much metal, and even the new / fresh anodized layer won't save it anymore. And about polishing anodized parts, the anodized layer is so thin that you can't do much to polish it, or else the raw aluminum will say "hello" to you, and you can throw the part into the garbage.

I meant that the scale that I have doesn't display pounds and ounces together, only pounds and ounces separately in decimal point. I forgot to clarify this during editing.

you crono the gun at 300fps. Up here in NH last time I went the MAX was 260fps that means you need to be in the 250 area to be under the max. Back in the old days we always set to 290 295 to be under 300. Im just wondering because I feel that 250 is LAME. like you are shooting rainbows past 50 feet... And at 100 you would have to aim straight up into the air...
That sucks, been to fields with 280fps limit and it gets to me. I understand, but imo 250 way too low.

I’m really interested in polishing. Curious on what compounds and buff pads you would use. Before the Billy Wing came out, there were old pbnation threads on polishing bolts and cans for smoother shot. The intro in great, don’t change it. 😊

BIG thank you for this. Also, is be interested in supersmooth polishing bc im a petfectionist. Im assuming this would require a dremel tool with a polishing pad on the end? Either way I'm interested Edit. @ 5:06 aren't those 2 o rings supposed to be yellow? They look purple to me.
The stock ones from Dye are yellow but those were brown. The brown ones are from a Captain O-Ring color kit I got a few years ago. They run a little big for their size and I wanted to make sure all three bolt had the best chance to seal up properly.

With the IM Pro Kit. There isn't a difference in performance between the bolts without the IM Pro Kit.
Is that amount of blowback up into the feedneck normal?
That's actually just the bolt "clipping" the next ball in the stack. Since it's just gravity pulling them down, they tend to jump when the bolt moves forward to shoot the ball sitting in the breech. Most of my makers do this in some capacity. The ones that don't are Autocockers.

I’m a mech player. Just sold my Trix as I don’t see major advantages over my emek. Awesome milling, but not worth what I paid. Just glad I recouped most of my purchase cost 😂
I’ve yet to shoot anything mech that beats a fully upped emek. Even my dren luxe, sad but true.
