By the end of this series both The Stranger Qimir and Darth Venamis Venestra will be killed off forcing Lord Tenebrous to move forward with his apprentice Darth Plagueis.

Venestras makeup has got to be the worst in SW history. At points you can clearly see her bald cap. I don't know why they made her bald. She should have purple hair and she looks so much better with hair.

It would be really really bad if the Executive Producer and creator of the show cast her bad acting wife as the "lead" role in a tv series. Very very bad. But, I think Vernesta is Qimir's original Jedi Master who accepted him as her acolyte. He failed, they got into a fight, she light saber whipped him in the back (hence his back scar) and he ended up going and being drained in the Dark Side by Witch (who gave birth to the twins) who is the TRUE Sith Lord in this show.

Ki Adi Mundi is sociopath and has dementia - his age during The Prequels was so much above standards of his species, it suspicious... Also lives all time in the Jedi order and is a fanatic Jedi, nasty being, maybe some kind of dark side user(cause of dementia) or Sith outside of Bane line, not The Sith.

How can you find time and space to be a Sith in the Jedi Temple and always around the jedi? Maybe she can become a Sith.

Also, when Soy Boy Jedi assumes that Sol might have killed the Jedi on the planet, she doesn't really speak up against it, so she seems to have an interest in putting the blame on Sol. She also did not want to inform the Jedi council about the developments. Something's very wrong with her character.

they are not the pacing is bad, the motivitions are bad, the writting is bad, and im pretty sure i saw in fight scenes a guy face the wrong direction for a few seconds and it wasnt even a spin, i dont think ppl care about the lore, but it just seem unneressary for that character to be there i think that the main point when they didnt even use him so far

George Lucas’s comments should be told and retold and told again. I am OG Star Wars. I was in line as a seven-year-old boy in 1977. Perhaps the reason why different stories or different versions of stories don’t bother me as much is because some of the greatest Star Wars stories ever told were the ones me and my other friends in the neighborhood told as we acted out our own store adventures every day. Of course we had limited knowledge because of the long time span between movies and the lack of additional “legends” material…. so we basically made it up ourselves. And we changed it over and over and over again. I get that you have to do world building and have rules to govern that world, but I think some people are giving the Sadducees in biblical times a run for their money.

Very balanced analysis. Some of your concerns are fair. Personally, they just bother me as much as some people. I understood the whole insect carrying the guy away… Could have been done more artfully? Yeah, but it just didn’t take me out of the story. Again, some people have a higher or lesser tolerance for these types of issues. But I definitely appreciate how you approached it. We need more of this and less of the culture wars.

Star Wars has become proxy war for the culture wars. You would think in a galaxy full of trillions upon trillions a species and races…… A more diverse cast would be welcomed. And let’s be honest….. It’s cheaper to make that diversity different shades of humanoids rather than aliens species. Yet here we are. So sad. Looking back, the only thing I can think might have done differently….. they might could have given us a more fan service sequel trilogy and then jump so far into the future that we no longer had legacy characters. Legacy characters just bring with too much risk. Everybody has a different idea of how legacy character should have played out. They also could have gone back 25,000 years to the old Republic. Again, there’s no legacy characters here so it was less risky. But at the end of the day, Star Wars is just proxy war for the culture wars.

Even through they are on a rocky precipice, it is safe to assume that the shield’s vibrations will still travel into the ground, because all materials are still capable of carrying these tremors (even rocks). Given that in Dune part one we see a sand worm stick its head out of the sand to search for Paul and Jessica, it can be assumed that the worm could have stuck its head out of the sand and over the rocky hill to eat the harkonen soldiers (which it would be able to find because of the shield’s vibrations). This is my interpretation.

This episode was so well done that I wasn't sure even up until the last moment whether Toranaga actually had a plan. I thought he did. Figured he did. What threw me off was him letting go of the Anjin. I didn't get it until the very end of the episode. Excellent writing. It would be interesting to go back and watch the original 1980 production with Richard Chamberlain. Personally, though Chamberlain was the hot ticket at the time, I think it would be hard to top this current interpretation. I especially love Anna Sawai's role as Mariko. She is absolutely believable. I'm sometimes put off by Jarvis's somewhat bumbling appearance at times, though I admit it seems to work overall. Great show.
