Good video you can also pull the ball joints and end links vs struts but ball joints are kinda a pain. One of my oem axles is at 197k the other axle boot broke so I got an ebay oem replacement for like $50 and yes nice to have a spare axle and replacement oem boot on the shelf just in case.

These are horrendously difficult without silicone spray to get on/off

Great video, just bought an fg xr6 turbo . Im old and always drive valiants. They finally built a decent engine that beats a 265 hemi. Definitely a more mucking around to work on a barra but not that hard. These Fords are extremely reliable, and i worked on taxis that have way over a million ks and still run great. Keep up the great work.

Excellent outcome mate. Adam tuned my skyline nearly 20 years ago now! I appreciated his philosophy of not tuning this thing at 10:1 like a lot of shops out there, 11.7:1 with moderate timing is what these engines thrive on, providing fuel is good and knock is managed. The advice on oil level, fuel level and driving in the heat is spot on. You did everything spot on mate, methodical well research mods, good tune and most importantly good maintenance will keep these cars alive. Excellent video series!

Perhaps a big reason for those auxiliary headlights is that they must've stuck with the stock headlights. As such, the beam pattern from them dips the wrong way for driving on the left side of the road.
