The author is calling it GodoT with a pronounced T because he's Argentinian and in Spanish translations of Samuel Beckett's "Waiting for Godot" they pronounce the T. This is simply a mistake, because there's no reason why the letter T would have to be pronounced in Spanish and it happened because the original translator didn't know any better. The name has since stuck. In Polish and Czech for example they also pronounce the T. But ultimately, the play was written in French by an Irish writer, and when we speak English, there's absolutely no reason why we should pronounce the T at the end.

I have a friend who worked a summer job at one of these helplines and according to him, being on the other side of these cases is also deeply frustrating.
