It's really just personal preference! I put all of my cards in matching sleeves (Mint Dragon Shields for anything in the main deck and Pink Diamond Dragon Shields for anything in the Extra Deck). Plus I feel like they look better out of the plastic. There can also be an issue if they're in too tight of a sleeve/top loader where the crease of the plastic can imprint into the card. For resale value, definitely keep them sealed as you then cater to those that like sealed promos and those that will open them.

Cactus Bouncer is a neat floodgate for the plant decks! I remember a few times where the Secret got bought out, the Ultra is always a good and cheap penny stonk imo. Wouldn't hurt to have a few playsets sitting around. I think I also have quite a few playsets of the Commons sitting around somewhere too!

Completely agree! They've been slowly adding reprints into sets a handful at a time, but they definitely need to do a large reprint set!

Yeah you're not wrong! There's a few fellas I know that play with decks with Asian English cards, OCG cards, proxies, etc. Doesn't matter since it's not an officially sanctioned event. 😆

@@SageKillahYGO Fair. Cali just did a vid talking about how we should use ocg cards as proxies (Asian English being an upgrade) to get Konami to fix the rarities. Plus, given that Mkohl 40 just said that INFO "seems" to be taking a little advantage of the 1-3 secrets a little more. I think we're on the precipice of something. Or you know, given the state of the USA today, we all just might be paying for rad-x in bottle caps soon anyway. 🤠🧟👍

The 1-3 Secrets per box is a really interesting topic because we've pretty much had 2 Secrets per box for ages. Every once in a while, you could get a box with only 1 Secret, but those chances were slim. I'm not sure how much rarity tinkering I want to see from Konami with how every meta applicable card gets rarity bumped to the max already in the TCG...

@@SageKillahYGO Sorry, should be clearer, I think they are advocating for something more like the OCG in the TCG. So if Konami doesn't twin in a low rarity for access in the TCG, start allowing the OCG lower rarities to be legal (obviously Konami wouldn't allow this in their tournaments).

​@@SageKillahYGO Any cards reprinted in the rarity collection bonanza do you think will affect the prices in a negative way or no just because their speed duel cards used in speed dual format?

I feel like these cards will maintain at least some value, even if they get reprints in Quarter Century Bonanza just because these are useable in Speed Duels and regular TCG cards aren't. There are still Speed Duel events and such, so the Speed Duel-legal cards are still going to be desired by those that play the format.

Edison Format is the fan-used name of a legacy format that uses the cards available in April 2010 and uses the March 2010 Forbidden and Limited List. It got it's name from the event held in April 2010, SJC Edison. You'll see decks like Quickdraw Dandy, Blackwings, Gladiator Beasts, Diva Hero, Hero Beat, Hero Frog, Frog Monarch, all of which get their names from popular cards and archetypes used at the time.

I still crack up at the name. Lol. They're like "Well, we've done the Rarity Collection name twice. We really have to shake things up." 😆

JIMMYYYY!! For sure. Rarity Collection III was anticipated, I just hate how it's been on a 6 month cycle. It feels like the previous Rarity Collection doesn't even have time to breathe before they announce the next one. I truly think Speed Duel could make a comeback. As I mentioned, it's a really good product for casual players, legacy format players, and current format players in the way that it gives the casual playerbase a way to play a simplified version of the game and it gives legacy format and current format players needed reprints and rarity bumps where they need them. I really hope that if they bring Rush Duel to the West, that they also reincorporate Speed Duels at a later date since Speed Duel cards can be used in the TCG and Rush Duel cards are just Rush Duel/binder cards.

I could see a Rush duel product of sorts in the works. I don’t think Speed duel has enough life to warrant them to continue Perhaps they try to replace it. Maybe they bring a speed duel set in a year or two to test the waters and see if it can bring the billies In Only time will tell
