Maybe if you’re using the trackpad the strap would bang on the laptop, but I only ever have an issue with wearing metal on my right hand while using a mouse… constant tapping on the desk.

Hopefully Jay and Kay can make a band that fixes that issue. I have one and the watch wears flat and looks long across my wrist. I like my watch but just hoping for a new band.

I had the same issue too and I took off my metal watch once and conveniently forgot about it in the office and left for home. Next day, its gone. It was a super expensive watch like, 2k-ish.

Love how they just moved the light button to the center front. But since ae1500 wasnt my cup of tea, I would also pass on this one.

People, if you don't wear it all the time keep it in the dark, otherwise it tries to connect to your phone all the time and that drains the battery more than the solar panel can cope with...

I like the MIP display g-shocks, actually I have two older models, the GBD 200 and the GBX-100KI-1, they are almost the same, no solar, no multiband 6,just Bluetooth. I am not using the Bluetooth and the battery is more than 3 years old. There is a step counter and tide graph, sunset and sunrise. The MIP display is great for legibility, but the refresh rate is very low, that's why even the software is slowed down. In the fitness smartwatch branch there are better options than casio.

At the first place it's great to hear you again. I'm really happy cause I've never updated (there's no updates of course) my Rangeman GPR-B1000 Slice of Darkness, or...GPW-2000 Gravitymaster, or Galapagos square, or Banana GAB-2100....there's more probably but I don't care, I can't remember anymore, I got so many watches.... That's some weird and stupid situation when you have to ''update'' something that should just do the business no mater what, I'm really happy that I don't have to deal with it. yeah, a screen is okay but some good old positive screen would be a lot better, some ''update'' about it wouldn't be bad Is the band supple or not that's really not the thing, its job is to hold that thing around the wrist...judging by that (by the comfort) absolutely no one would wear ''the King'', or even DW-5600, Mudmaster War Machine GWG-1000, those bands from the factory are sadomasochism even though there's a lot worse bands from Casio, really a lot stiffer (I know that somehow 😀) That thing would be almost perfect without the HR sensor, without the bluetooth, just the good old screen, module, solar charging and the Multiband 6, that's it, that would be some good modern square.....it wouldn't be perfect but it would be a perfect modern square even though I really don't understand what was wrong with the LCD positive screen, if it works perfectly at my 42 years old G's why it wouldn't work today? In my opinion my G square GW-5000U is really close to be a perfection (it's far from being perfect but it's a definition of G shock), something that we will not see again soon (at least not with a normal price)...it's not perfect of course but it's really close. good video

It's a joke that Casio refuses to this very day putting sapphire on their watches, especially with the ridiculous high price tag. And don't get even started with that fairytale that sapphire is easily shattered, because it's not.

25 or 380 bucks doesn't matter. Casio is too stupid to put a countdown timer in both that can be set down to the second. It's 2025 for crying out loud, how difficult can it be? If you want a LOUD alarm, an awesome timer, awesome backlight and huge digits for a reasonable price get a Timex UFC Shock and forget about that Casio crap.

can we replace the strap with gshock?

I get billed for a new top bezel on the laptop on company equipment.

If it would have the 4th button (on the side), for easier navigation through the options, it'd be an instant sell.
