I just ordered a Bluetooth Yellow GA-B2100C-9A and a Bluetooth Black GA-B2100-1A. Both have the positive lcd display and the hour markers on both are very legible because they are white markers on the yellow watch and silver gray markers on the black one. I also ordered the black GA-2100-1A with the silver gray markers and the negative lcd display and the gray GA-2100PTS-8A with the bull bars with white markers and a negative lcd display. All 4 of these G-Shocks are in transit and I'm awaiting delivery of them sometime this week. I also purchased another 5th Black GPR-H1000-1JR Rangeman that I was able to purchase brand new from the Middle East on eBay for $349.56 with the tax included. I will now have a total of 7 Rangeman G-Shocks. 5 Black and 2 Yellow GPR-H1000 Rangeman G-Shocks. I am thinking of getting one more 3rd Yellow GPR-H1000-9JR Rangeman to have in my G-Shock collection if I can find it for $350 with the tax included like I did the other 2 that I currently purchased last month that I own. I don't know what it is that makes me keep buying another Rangeman. I think it's because I love the style and the two color combinations of the Rangeman so much that I just have to have another every time that I see it on sale online. I think I have Ramgeman OCD to keep purchasing more than one Rangeman like I do.

Hello Jim, a question....I have the Mudman GW-9500-1ER. A great watch, but the barometer has a difference of 1 or 2 hPa.....can you compare the barometer on the GPR-H1000, the GBD-H2000 and the GW9500? Is there a difference on your GW-9500? I hope to hear! Keep up the good work!

This is the best looking 2100 IMO. I'm curious to see if the cordura is comfortable. The concern I have about these strap adapters (like Jays and Kays too) is that now you have 4 spring bars which means there are 4 break points rather than two. I'm hard on watches like you! I'm looking forward to your follow up on this one.

do you suggest new one or the old one? for special forces. I dont want a watch that needs getting charged. I prefer long distance watches atleast 5 years.

Hi Jim, I just bought the Mudman TLC, I love it, I figured if I'm spending Mudman money, a few euros / dollars more wont make much difference. We have Toyota Hilux trucks on the farm and these products compliment each other, so that swayed me in the TLC direction. Your diesel dunking, oil dipping, and mud bath coating swayed me in the Mudman direction. Keep doing the tough reviews and demonstrations, and don't hold back on the findings or conclusions. Ugly x1000 throw in bin

I got the Jays and Kays adapters and Wrist Candy Watch Club FKM rubber band at my DW5600, and it's more than enough for any wrist I would say...I got almost 8 inch wrist, wearing it loose, and there's 5 more free holes at the band, plus band itself is a good quality, thick band with a double keeper....after a year of wearing every day (not abusing), I don't see any signs of use. The only thing I'm doing is wiping that band almost every day with a wet wipe, since it can become stinky from the sweat....oh yeah, that band had some meeting with the hot frying oil, but again, wet wipe and it was like a new again. Your wrist is just a half inch wider than mine which is really not a lot, you should be able to wear a lot of bands now. G shock bestseller list is useless, the only important thing is what's useful to you. I don't remember that I've ever have a look at that list.

Hi Jim. I have a Panasonic GH6 camera (which might be a good choice for you as it has no recording limit and will not overheat) and due to the power draw it needs a very particular specification of power bank that will work. Maybe your camera has the same issue. You can often also get a battery shaped power source which has a cable attached to which you apply power. Might be worth taking a look to see if something like that is available.

I once stripped the threads on the cover when I replaced a battery on my Gshock. The screw would spin and spin but doesn't tighten. I learned that you can take a small piece of copper wire and put it in the threads and tighten. It operates on the same principle with wood screws and you put a dowel inside the hole. You can get a small piece of copper from scrap electrical wire. Just strip the plastic off and unwound it...

I got my hands on a PRW-35-1a, .similar with the PRW-3500, the bezel is not so busy.I have it a few days now and I love it. The most intensive stuff I do is camping and some maintenance on my car. I like the look of the GW-9500, but the legibility won me over. You videos were very helpfull, but I wanted to see them. live, before making a decision. Since I was looking for a very legible watch ( poor eyesight with age. ), no BT, solar, multiband 6, either is an excelent choice. Thank you.

Yes, I have to admit, that I am also one of those guys, who bought the H2000, just after its release with my eyes rather than with my brain, but at least, I agree, it was a mistake and I don´t even try to "talk it nice" or trying hard to find somehow good reasons for this horrible mistake and waste of money. But instead after the purchase, I felt remorse and felt stupid. I wish, I knew Jim´s channel earlier, would have saved me quite some hundred Euros. One issue in life is not, to make a mistake, but to make the same mistake over and over again. I don´t care about any Casios anymore, untill they will change their greedy woke business policy.

I personally prefers it does not need to have stupid phone app link. Instead of wasting space for Bluetooth, make a bigger battery so it doesn’t need to be charged using charger!! I don’t like to have a metal contact exposed under the watch because for survival watch it should be able to submerge in the water for a long time!!!

I have been using my GBD H2000 daily for a year now....I have 3 other G shocks including the MTG B1000 and 2 king Gs but I always tend to go to the GBD H2000 for daily as wear because 1) as you said the comfort level is on another level and I put that on the design of the strap flaps, being the fact that it opens flat 2) its features and very accurate heart monitor...the design of comfort makes the heart rate monitor works even better and more accurate on all wrists....Its just a great watch man.

GBD is better value. It has everything that range man has in a lighter and comfortable package. it is sufficiently tough also .you have to ask yourself how much is too much and of course you don't want your voice to survive if you are committing a suicide jumping off the top floor😂

Thanks dear for making this comparison video on my request. Great video with a lot of insights. However, I feel that rangeman looks a bit odd and out of balance as it has strange cylindrical lugs on the left. I feel GBD looks more symmetrical. Also there is a 30 gm difference between them. I find it extremely comfortable. It matters more when you wear the watch while going to sleep and that is more comfortable with gbd as compared to rangeman. You brought out some very nice and informative points and based on that I had finally bought gbd. Also except for the tide graph there doesn't seem to be the any difference and I think casio can add that any time because tide graph is not dependent on any extra sensor that rangeman has. It is just dependent on the moon data that gbd also has apart from that I am definitely not going into a war field with this watch so I don't need master of g. I think that's an overkill and that makes the watch less comfortable so unless you really need it there is no point. simple g shock does all the toughness job for me and if this is a fitness watch , it is made already to take a fair amount of beating.Thanks so much ! you make great videos keep it up in fact there is no video on RUclips which compares the two watches thank you so much once again.

I've got numerous watches ranging in price - $ 125.00 to $ 8,000. My daily wear are always my G-Shock watches...YES, they are a TOOL while the others are JEWELRY.

It a G-Shock they all look like plastic toys, and that’s part of why we love them.

Congrats on the weight loss brother. Thats impressive. I went from 240 to 198lbs last summer doing Masonry. I feel so much better. If you had to pick one between your Rangeman and Mudman which would you choose? Im guessing the Mudman. I’m assuming you’d take the Mudman.
