It is like all your work beautiful - but I find it near to impossible to agree on calling it timeless - it is digital art - sure I can print it - it wouldn't be an original, and it wouldn't be the only one - it would have to be a very special print to ensure it will last the next 10 years without fading - and I will probably still be alive in 10 years so - is it a waste of time - no I don't think so - but having something in oil would be far more assuring

This is a really good portrait! I do work with Krita too, but not on this level. Seeing the result you created, I think it's really important to mention that a whole lot of the outcome is dependent on what source you work from. Being old enough to remember the times before the internet, with it's endless possibilitys and resources for decent images, I have worked with snippets from Newspapers and magazines like Playboy to create similar images with oil paints on canvas. The better the original image was, with enough details and professional lighting, the better my paintings get. To me, watching one of your videos is very informative in the sense that I get an idea of what is possible to achive with the default brushes in Krita.
