    I only wish I could get my PP30 with Queview to get to 425 without it shutting down on Err 4. The original Savannah Stoker didn't have any issues with that until it gave it up in 2023. I opted for the Queview as the latest and greatest but imediately started having issues. A phone call and some emails and I still can't get there. I can only do what I originally bought it for ,low and slow now. It's supprising that with the original controller pellet brand never made a difference but now thats the first response. I am babying it right now with Kingsford pellets. Two hours to get it to 350 after it shut down at 236 Err4, I will see if I can get it to 425 sometime today. Since installing the Queview I have not been able to set a high(350) temp from the start without it shutting down. This is starting with everything, temp probe, fire box, etc. clean. Well, surprise surprise, it didn't make it. Trying to go from 350-375 it shut down, Err 4. Very frustrated with the QueView controller. may be time to jump ship. I have replaced almost everything, Auger motor, igniter, RTD probe, burn pot since installing the Queview. Yes I've called yes I've emailed, Yes I drove 120 miles round trip to get the recommended pellets. Did I say I am frustrated. About ready to call Savannah Stokers and see if they can set me up one of their controllers.

    I tried all things mentioned, my smoker still gets hot with temp set at 200 It will reach 300 SMH.... Waste of money, its a piece of crap

      Does zero good to temp the cheese as it can be eaten as is. Just temp the meat 1/2” deep in this situation

    I am thinking about buying a used Pitt boss 850. The owner says that it won't maintain temperature. I was thinking it could be either the thermostat or the temp problem in the grill. It's in pretty good shape and I can get it for $75 bucks. Also possible control board? Any help where to start would be great. Thank you! Just subbed

      First of don't hate you got what you wanted to. But don't put this grill down I have seen enough Pit Bosses explode on line. So keep your Chinese made Tin Can and keep it moving. That's the problem w people here they want fast but not Quality. Made in America! Go Smokin Brothers!

    Parkay is most certainly not butter and is a plant based oil versus genuine butter or clarified butter (which is NOT ghee, btw). I don’t know if his terminology is just calling butter Parkay or if it’s real Parkey but I don’t use anything but butter because of the lower temps I use in smoking, and then will utilize Clarified Butter at the end for taste (your welcome for that pro tip). Can you tell us if it is real butter or Parkay Vegetable spread? Always love your work, videos and guests! Thank you!

    Thank you for your help today Ryan! You know your smokers! I replaced my controller the other day, and hooked up a couple of connectors wrong... Ryan talked me through the wiring, and as soon as i told him the wires that were connected wrong, he zeroed right on it! I ran it through the temps, and it ran like new! Ryan called me a bit later to see how it went. The next time I want or need something for my cooking, im going to Smokin Brothers! Thank you again!
