Finding Pinout of YPS Duo Seeds
Finding the correct data wire and the pinout for the 4 wire Duo Seeds. I saw a great video by ListenToOurLights about three wire pinouts (ruclips.net/video/6uaUvqZ64dY/видео.html) This is an addition to that video. He did a great job. This is for the 4 wire Duo Seeds from Your Pixel Store.

Introduction to the channel. CNC cutout of our TNT Creations sign.
Awesome video, I just setup my 3020 with a Raspberry Pi 5 running CNClinux with CNCjs added to it for GRBL . Can’t wait to make my first cut after I learn a bit more
Your music is disproportionately loud compared to your voice.
Thanks for the feedback! I’ll make sure to adjust the levels if I ever make another. Wouldn’t want the music stealing the show, right?
I just bought the x-max 3 qidi tech. I have fusion 360 for my onefinity elite foreman CNC machine. I was thinking of downloading ORCA Slicer. Do you think that would be a good slicer or just stay with qidi ?
Sorry, I’ve never used that slicer. I still use Qidi.
Did you know there is a shortcut to center your selection ? just press the F9 key Kind regards Hans by the way thanks for this "tutorial"
First Video I seen that closes the gap in my understanding between the the design and the cut!! I am a complete beginner, and this is an excellent video. Sure I subscribed!!
Glad it was helpful!
Do you know if this is still needed with the Shapeoko 5 4x4 ?
Sorry, I do not. I haven’t used a Shapeoko in a year or so, and I have not been using a bit setter anymore.
THANK YOU! Saving this video to send to others when this comes up in the future!
I was stuck at download!!! so this was so great Thanks
music is super distracting btw!
Well, I don’t make videos for a living. Just trying to help a fellow maker when I can.
Wow! What a set up for your machine. That looks awesome. Anybody with that much skill and knowledge to set their machine up like this should not be asked to leave ANY group! They are plainly stupid and ignorant.I would actually like to hear anything you have to say whether I disagree or not. Obviously you have much to contribute in any group that you join! I can relate though. I like to make soap also and the views on soap making are tightly controlled by a few Biatches. Now I'm banned just because I made a naughty or nice Christmas list. Was threatened many times so I made a Christmas list and they didn't like that so much. All of it was plain lies and speculation and was made in good humor and I clearly stated this at the beginning. It was a funny experiment because the ones that made the "nice" list enjoyed what was exaggerated about them and the ones that made the "naughty list" COMPLAINED AND WHINED and wanted to be off the naughty list. My whole thinking was "Who cares about some list" but yet these people whined and cried about it! I thought it was hilarious and crazy that these people were actually upset about a "Santa list"! So, in light of that, I would be glad to be apart of any group your in if it has to do with cnc work. My highest compliments to you sir. And I say that with respect.
Thanks
What feeds and speeds are you using for this?
Used the bit setter with Shapeoko 4. Worked great... Thank you; I couldn't find this info anywhere else!
Thanks! Have wanted to try this…. So now I have confidence to!! Thanks
Know this is 2 years old. I’m new to VCarve and using the shapeoko. My router will do all that is asked until it’s time to carve. It won’t go to the piece to carve Can you help?
Let’s start with the basics. Are you using mm or inch? What post processor are you using when you save your toolpaths in Vcarve? I have not used Carbide Motion in almost two years. Been exclusively using CNCJS so I have no idea if they have done any updates.
Also, how are you setting your zeros? (X,Y,Z)
When using Easel Im noticing that these cuts with inlays are taking up to 3 hours. What am I doing wrong?
Not sure. I’ve never used Easel. I would check feeds and speeds and your machine setup.
Hi nice tombstones what cnc machine are you using? Thanks. John
At this time I was still using the Shapeoko 3 XXL
@@PricklyGuyCreations thank you.
Hi I am using shapeoko pro xxl, I tried using the bitzero like normal as per your instructions but the endmill just kept pushing down into the bitzero and wouldn't stop. I used bitsetter first, what am I doing wrong? Thanks in advance!
hey man, thanks for this. Do we still need this when using Vectric Vcarve Pro or has the built in caught up? Thanks!
If you’re talking about the post processor, I believe you would still need it. I have not seen one from Vectric. But to be honest, I’ve used the one I have now since this video so I haven’t looked.
This was awesome.
i did everything you did but my z-axis continues to cut deep into the wasteboard🤦🏾♂️🤦🏾♂️😩
Tolong, saya ada masalah di cncjs. Ketika listrik padam cnc diam tapi di cncjs tetap berjalan.
Saya dari Indonesia. Terimakasih vidionya. Saya masih pemula sekali di cnjs. Dan saya ingin belajar. Saya pakai kontroler arduino.
I couldn't agree more about the cnc4newbie users group. I had a newcarve in my shopping and ready to pay. The assholes in that group with their "this has been asked and answered" and their "do some research" comments turned me off so much that I bought another Shapeoko. The fact that that is allowed to continue is just a huge turn off. I do my best to help people because I have been given so much help. Your videos are a great example of what is so great about the majority of the cnc community. I really miss your content and wish you were still making videos. Hope you are doing well!!
Chris I have just watch this video again and I have a question the the first bit you had in the router when you initialize the machine did exactly what.also when you used the touch probe and set your x and y and then went to the middle oh the board to set theZ could you have sipped the probe ang gone to the center of the board and set the XYZ all at the same time using the paper Jeff Peters
Thanks for making this! We bought a used machine that has a BitSetter, but I haven’t been using it this way and I knew there had to be an easier way!
I try to install the TC PP into Aspire and get the error No closing quote on line On line 990 of file ".../..." and it crashes Aspire. Oh well thanks anyways, it was worth a try
Love the video, but the background music makes it difficult for me to follow (Dutch native).
Superb sir, what a help. More please!!
Great video, but I had errors loading those files when Vcarve Pro fired up. Thank you for the time to make this.
Awesome machine. I'm looking at a cnc4newbie machine looks same as it?
A lot of it is. Depending on what hard parts you go with and what controller. I went with the Demon controller. (Demo controller+new carve=Demon Carve) Lots of things added and changed, but that’s the backbone of it.
We have to use the z probe always or we can just do the tool change???
Thanks a lot tfor the video. I am asking if is there any possibility to include the autolevelling or height map estention to this program . I can not find an easy way to do it ! thanks
Hey bro I need help whit this using grbl
And make the probe for tool change
The tool change piece can be any momentary switch. Then runs back to probe port.
All right and the distance I have to change too I have 3018 pro
thanks broo, a question i have and arduino, some time the program cncjs send me a server conection probem
hopefully you will see this. I have done your directions but the file isnt showing in the drop down for post processors. I went back in to MyPost directory and it shows there. Thanks for any help you can give.
You must close the program completely and then reopen it. If it’s showing in the folder, that’s all I can think of.
Chris When I go to the link you provided I do not get a screen to down load the Neils file could it be out dated Jeff
Would you be able to share the v-carve settings or provide the file?
Spray with water then take a heat gun at the low setting and you will get a stone effect
I’ll have to try that on the next ones.
Hi very helpful video mm is more accurate than inches
Hi..nice video. For users that not have shapeoko. Is necesary to have bitsetter? or is possible with something to simulate for example an a second probe plate? thanks
Having a Shapeoko is not necessary. I also have a new carve that I have customized. It has a bit-changer as well. But you do not have to have the bitsetter on either.
great vid and idea, its been about a year how have they held up so far?
They did good. They are going back out again this year.
And again this year!!
how do you get your macros could you do a video on making them or getting them
I do have a video of it. It’s on the CNCJS for beginners video.
awsome idea thanks for sharing,
nice video but that is a lot of work ..could I just jog to my center of work piece and just set the z height .
If you have to change bits, you’ll want to pick an area they will not be cut. If you’re just using one bit, yes you can.
Thanks verry good👍👍
Wow! This is a well-polished system! I'm currently waiting on my New-Carve 4510 to ship and intend on running CNCJS as well. Can you do a video on the bitsetter integration? Certainly, a feature that I love to pull from Carbide into the NC.
I will put that on my list.

@@PricklyGuyCreations WOW thank you for the quick reply Jeff
well that seem like a waste of time why not just use your X,Y,Z Prop, it will be a lot faster.
To each their own. But this way you can create one file with multiple bits. It’s actually pretty quick. It’s a personal preference. Carbide pushed their bit setter a lot. I used to use it a ton. Not so much anymore.
