The video you're criticizing was speaking against how morally repugnant the show has become - the destructive and divisive wokeness, overt sexism against men, racism against white people, and pushing of the toxic and controversial gender religion. I feel your rebuttal ignores the entire moral thrust of his video and attempts to just nitpick trivial facts. You seem insistent that the show's tone and moral character are no different now to how things ever were in the classic era before RTD got involved. Hardly! Why else would fans everywhere now be leaving the show, with ratings never lower? The bottom line is that you seem to be comfortable (or able to tolerate) the new radical far-left political outlook which the show has adopted, and if so that's great for you. However, most fans are not happy about this, because that's not the show we once loved. Sure, you can argue that RTD and Moffat's controversial agendas were "always there" in the modern series, but for most of us they were unwelcome, yet fleeting enough to be tolerable. Incidentally, let me say, I don't mind Ncuti as a performer and under other circumstances I might have enjoyed his Doctor. While I don't think regeneration could EVER change a male character into a female character, I do think it is sufficiently broad enough to accommodate the large change in both race and personality seen in Gatwa. This Doctor could have been great fun, say, 20 years ago. Unfortunately, this regeneration has been marred by being surrounded with a climate of horrible racist politics and a spirit of attacking the British population and their race. The incessant "black casting" in Doctor Who has got to the point now where like a third of the cast are now black, despite the fact that only 2% of the British population are black. This is surely the result of racial discrimination. Also marring this regeneration is Ncuti's spiteful comments about the welcoming society that has allowed him to succeed and given him a dream job: Here we have an immigrant, complaining about the country's native race having an advantage in their own country! Unbelievably disrespectful. To turn the tables around on Ncuti - I wouldn't expect to move to Rwanda and start complaining about how there's so many black people there, and bemoaning how all their entertainment is full of black people, and demanding the Rwandan people took more interest in white people, insisting that white people were "represented" in ever Rwandan TV show. That would be both absurd and incredibly disrespectful, but Ncuti seems to think it's fine to bash the population of this almost entirely white country. This is typical of the toxic woke movement with its racist "critical race theory".

This is possibly the most dismal thing I've ever seen on RUclips. Doctor Who has been utterly appalling for years and it's nothing to do with LGBTQTHS43+SigmaAlpha or race or anything - it's just that the writing, the acting and the whole thing in general, is utterly awful. It's not entertaining, it's not enjoyable and it's not worth watching. There are no new ideas, no challenging concepts, no suspense, no involvement, and no credibility. It's a tedious slog to get 1/2 way through and episode - you'd get more from reading Proust or Kafka for the same time. Let it go.... it's dead, it's been dead for years and it's now starting to smell and there's lots of lies. Close the lid, lower the casket, shovel the soil.

Regarding Davros, with the exception of Dr Who fans basically deciding amongst themselves that whatever happened to Davros was the result of a Thal weapon exploding (or whatever it did) somewhere close to Davros's laboratory, I don't believe we've ever had an actual explanation in the show. During the Capaldi story "The Magician's Apprentice, The Witch's Familiar" we see a young Davros trapped by handmines, so surely if they just decide "right, that is how Davros got hurt, barely survived..." would it not coincide nicely that as Capaldi chose to save Davros at the end, would he not actually be healthy person now...? Would that fit...or am I nuts??

I don't recall the doctor previously stating that as a male he is an upgrade over female forms, whereas when JWs Doctor specifically stated her superiority in the context of her being female. Not forgetting the numerous other sexist attacks aimed at men (eg when a female timelord states she doesn't know how she contained all he ego when she was male). None of this would be remotely acceptable if the sexes were reversed. You can deny it, you try and justify it, but the reality is antimale sexism has been pushed through the show for quite a while now. And as NGs Doctor, sure it's cool to bring your own personality in to the character of the Doctor... but NG seems only to have brought his sexuality in and nothing else. Outside of his portrayal of the Doctor, his race based snipes at white people really shows his motives.

The original Doctor is Hartnell. Glad I gave up on the show during the Capaldi era. Became unwatchable back then. From what I've seen it's horrendous now.

Sorry, but the ‘redressed Dr. Who’ is a prissy, preachy, propagandising and borderline grooming show designed to programme kids minds, not entertain but to entice. Not only is this unnecessary, but it’s totally undesirable in a world that has all the info they might want to make their own minds up as they mature themselves. They don’t need a failing miserable remains of a once great show with 60 years universe building and context to convert them to the new social politics - that’s a red line in a free world with free minds. Young minds are impressionable and this naked attempt to capture these socially engneered minds is intolerable.

For some reason, RUclips recommended this video to me. God only knows why I bothered clicking on it though, because it's trash, just like current Doctor Who (and its ratings). Your entire argument hinges on feelings and semantics (the latter of which is usually used to argue against something in bad faith, which is what's done here). All the responses to people criticising you (and I'm not just talking about the ones saying your video sucks) are the equivalent of "no u", which isn't an argument. As someone else said, you seem to be very naive, and don't seem to know a ton about the franchise, which really gives you a weak standpoint from which to argue.

To further enlighten this chap Echo Chamberlain's regarding Doctor Who NOT being a children's show, he needs to watch cool Tom Baker stories "The Brain of Morbius," "The Deadly Assassin" and "The Talons of Weng Chiang" to see excessive, yet awesome violence.

Good, bad, or indifferent, every one is entitled to their opinion. I saw the original video, and I completely agree with all the points that Echo Chamberlain made about how the BBC has turned a once great series into a unwatchable mess. With each episode of this season the viewing figures keep spiraling downward. And sadly, at this point I doubt the series will recover its long time fans and become relevant again. IMHO, the only way to ultimately save Doctor Who is by putting it on a 5 to 10 year hiatus.

No, Tom Baker was not cool - furthest thing from it. He was alien, captivating, other worldly, but never cool. Cool is generally confirmative without making mistakes or being shown up. Sarah and even K9 are constantly teasing him - he makes claims with authority and then turns out to be wrong. Capaldi's Doctor *thought* he was cool - but the scene you're showing with the guitar on the tank is a great example of how his perception of himself differs from those around him. Clara and Bill would both call him out on everything. I actually think Ncuti would work a lot better if Ruby would threaten to take his sugar away. The issue isn't that he thinks he's cool, it's that he doesn't make mistakes and doesn't get called out. When he catches Ruby's drink - any other Doctor would have tried to catch it, fail and then try to hide their embarrassment. Sorry - bow ties are only ironically cool.

I really wasn't happy with the Jodie Whittaker/Chris Chibnall era of Doctor Who which was terrible. The Timeless Children (Worst episode ever) made me so mad that I stopped watching it for a while. The 13th Doctor was poorly written and Jodie Whittaker really didn't suit the role. I've started watching the new series with Ncuti Gatwa and so far, Ncuti Gatwa hasn't been too bad as the new Doctor. I liked Church on Ruby Road and Space Babies. The Devil's Chord was average. I am giving Ncuti Gatwa a fair chance. What a lot of people don't understand about Doctor Who is that The Doctor is not a human and is an extra terrestrial who Regenerates and changes his face, his body and his personality to cheat death. Although The Doctor changes, it is still the same character, a character has been recast, reinvented and has had different personalities time and time again. Ncuti Gatwa is not the showrunner, Russell T. Davies is the showrunner. Russell T. Davies is the one to blame, not Ncuti Gatwa. I thought Ncuti Gatwa could bring something new to Doctor Who. He does have great chemistry with co-star Millie Gibson. Doctor Who is a fictional fantasy and it's not real life. It's just a TV show.

I don't know who this bloke is but he's obviously a massive tosser! Just one thing though, from the First Doctor up until the last series of the Forth Doctor (if memory serves), the credits did say "Doctor Who". Now, most of us old fans will always say "The Doctor" rather than "Doctor Who", but it is sometimes used by more casual audiences, or, most likely in this case just because he had to call the Doctor something and he couldn't be arsed to do any actual viewing of the show, he just got the name from IMDB. Neither name is technically incorrect, but 99% of fans will use "The Doctor".

I just hate how many stuff has been lost media from that site after they joined Rooster Teeth and FullScreen. Before RT shutdown I archived a lot of Hard News from 2011-2014 the ones from 2008-2010 are practically lost, Evil Craig, The Royal Rumbles from 2011-2015, Nerdtastic and something else. I have a channel where I am uploading all the Hard News Stuff I have for videogame history mostly. For me Screwattack will always be the best site for gaming that existed too bad many of those videos are lost or privated on the Death Battle channel. I really wish Screwattack would have just changed their structure for animation with Death Battle but still being a videogame channel on the other so both can coexist side by side than making DeathBattle take over.

4:18 The Doctor is not angry towards Wilfred, his anger is directed toward the circumstances (universe if you will). He is angry that after all the things that he had done he still has to die. If you watch the whole scene when he finally accepts the outcome, you can clearly see that he was never angry at Wilfred (if you can't get that from the scene shown here). He also states that it was honour for him to save Wilfred as he goes into radiation chamber. You can clearly see from after this whole scene in quiestion that he was angry that he had to die as he wanted to live, but never at Wilfred (he would never dare, and I would never forgive him if he did).
