Bro needs to try out the Dewalt power stack batteries, the DeWalt, DCD1007 and DCF860, DCF870, the 60V circular saw and there 60V grinder. DeWalt make some of the best power tools on the market right now and have some of the best batteries. Their 60 V platform is superb over the Milwaukee MX fuel and M18 fuel. I could get a Dewalt drill that performs the same and is still cheaper or performs better than the Milwaukee.

It is NEC (nat’l electrical code) that a convenience receptacle be placed in or around any major appliance for exactly this reason. Except, that rec should be on a completely separate circuit (furnace should be dedicated as per code too) meaning its own home run to the panel with nothing else on that circuit. This way you can power down the furnace while working on it, using the rec for any power needed

Fun fact I ran a service call. The pex crimped valves under the sink were leaking. Crawled under the house and literally every connection was calcified and leaking.

issue is the receptacle is now switched with the furnace. unless there’s no disconnect in which case that would also be an issue. Plus the furnace is supposed to be dedicated.

Furnace is required to be on its own dedicated circuit for safety & code & because many furnaces become unreliable due to interference with controls, all because idiots plug in their freezer in that outlet or put a splitter & an extension chord to their Christmas lights or they plug their vacuum cleaner there cause they couldn’t be arsed to use a non dedicated circuit, then they wonder why their furnace doesn’t work. Rant over.

It is called using "pigtails". It makes every load's electricity flow only through wire, not through every receptacle before it. In a perfect world, all receptacles would use pigtails.

Just make sure those source wires can handle all the amps down the line and it all checks out 🔥

I have the gen 2 high torque impact. Its a beast, but its a lot to lug around. I definitely dont need the new stubby because I only work on my own car, but damn the size, weight, and torque has been nagging me to buy it.

This is the best coding video that I have seen. Until I reviewed it, I was totally unsuccessful with my Launch X431 tool. I still am having trouble translating many of the options that I see when using the tool. Do you know where I might find a map of what the terms refer to?? I am especially interested in remote control of the top and windows of my GTS 4.0 Boxster 2023.

I couldn’t do injections balance test from special function page ! But went through other pages to tue ECU and here you go it worked from there. It’s frustrating and confusing. This needs to be fixed as a mechanic digging around takes alot of my time as every vehicle built different and has different menu options

Stanley Max 16 foot w/o the lock is what most tradesmen use. After 20 years of being a DeWalt guy….. I switched to Milwaukee. Unfortunately the nearest service center is over an hour away.
