Hi Mr.Andy, can I ask you question what program is better for D5 Render ? Is using Blender can do well for D5 Render for LiveSync ? And do you know if D5 Render have Black Friday Discount probably ? Thanks in advance, your content help me to learn this new software to speedup my workflow
D5 has done a great job with all their plugins being developed at the same stage so Blender is an excellent option because of how robust the modeling tools are (and it's free) plus their UV capabilities! Pretty much all the settings I talk about here carry over to it. Don't worry, Blender will not hold you back! Not sure about a BF sale, but if you check my video description I always offer 5% off subscriptions! I'll also be giving out a free month of D5 Pro soon, stay tuned and thanks for the support!
@@andychristoforou So it was better to use DirectExport especially in Blender, so their settings and UV can transfer to D5 fully ? I still trying for 1 month too
@clainwahyudarmawan7055 Direct or Live are totally fine for blender. Just remember to apply materials! Yes, giving out a free month of D5 - check my latest community post!
can we get the same result as d5 in enscape
Not really! They're for different use cases, Enscape is great for quick concepting not really photorealism (Chaos has Vantage and Vray for that) , D5 is built for photorealistic real time rendering at any project phase and can handle very large scenes. The comparison is not directly apples to apples because of how different the features are, D5 is in the same band as Lumion/Twinmotion/Vantage. Hope that helps.
@ thanks
D5 is killing all the rendering engines, thanks for the video

How do you fix a blurry/low quality custom HDRI in d5? I have used different file size of an hdri. But d5 custom hdri is always blurry/low quality background.
What resolution are you using for your HDRIs?
@ I used 2k up to 8k files from polyhaven but the background is blurred/low quality. Especially if the HDRI have buildings at the background, though you can't notice the issue if its just clear skies hdri. Thanks
So I did a test, yes it looks blurry in editor but when you render it's full quality! Just used the noemotion hdris, 15000x7500px. It's blurry for the sake of performance in the editor!
which do you prefer geo and sky or hdrı two of beautiful :)
@@UlviDemir-x4t Usually I'm in the HDRI camp! Sometimes that happens because of the AI atmosphere tool generating a cool HDRI for me. It really depends on the project though, I wouldn't limit yourself to one or the other, once you play around with both long enough you begin to see the pros and cons of each setup!

@@WaceraMurage No problem! Glad you found it useful!
Midjourney is nice for inspiration, but as an interior designer you are constraint by the structure of a room. My workflow is like this: I sketch using an Ipad and put the Sketch into Xona AI to render. Midjouney can do this too with it's new retexture feature, but i haven't seen it in the context of Interior Design, yet. Also, i don't have access to this feature, becuase i am not a Midjourney power user.
Great workflow, the MJ editor is insane - I should do a video just on that in the context of interior design, it is VERY powerful. I was feeding it some clay renders of a project of mine and it did an incredible job adding materials so I can imagine it doing wonders with your drawings!
this walk-through is underrated, mind if i ask a question?
@@Mikasa1152s Ha, thanks so much - yes go ahead!
@@andychristoforou thanks, it is about the library, am not always online so how can i have the library offline just like in lumion? and thanks in advance
@Mikasa1152s Ah, yeah that's a tough one - so the biggest difference is D5 has a cloud library so every time you activate an asset its downloading it, as opposed to lumion installing with all the assets (this is why the installer is massive), so in your case, you could potentially just download as many assets as you’ll need for a project, or import your own and then add them to local so they're your "own" asset library
@@andychristoforou so, what are saying is that d5 is an all out online program for its library?
@Mikasa1152s For the most part yes! I believe only a small amount come in via the installer, the majority are downloaded. The other potential issue is working offline, you'd lose out on the ai enhancer function too.
Awesome! I would love to see the images passed through Magnific!
Good call, I've dropped them in this folder here for you to check out: www.dropbox.com/scl/fo/t7ak8242nwty5yyus3ps6/AMf_CcD0n7414_wmfymiCxI?rlkey=a573amkd04b1kf4p1z2nfw1dg&dl=0 IMO I think Magnific did a fantastic job using very light/default settings, I even included my settings in there for the comparison! LMK if you have questions.

So who owns the intellectual property for the design? You or Midjourney? What does their EULA say?
Great question, taken from their ToS, Section 4 "You own all Assets You create with the Services to the fullest extent possible under applicable law." Reference document here: docs.midjourney.com/docs/terms-of-service
@@andychristoforou, good to know. When you sign up here are the “Rights You give to Midjourney” By using the Services, You grant to Midjourney, its successors, and assigns a perpetual, worldwide, non-exclusive, sublicensable no-charge, royalty-free, irrevocable copyright license to reproduce, prepare derivative works of, publicly display, publicly perform, sublicense, and distribute text and image prompts You input into the Services, as well as any Assets produced by You through the Service. This license survives termination of this Agreement by any party, for any reason.
Yes, when I reviewed this with Legal, our understanding of why this exists is in case they happen to show one of your images in an any marketing materials more so than MJ wanting to get into design work. There's another clause that's something along the lines of if you're a pro user, they will try to limit the potential of showcasing your work but also on the flip side I wouldn't produce an image and then go and get that built, I'd use it as a spring board for ideas, you know what I mean?
@@andychristoforou This is an interesting discussion. I think it would be important though to be transparent with your clients that you are using MJ and AI. Personally, I'd be more comfortable installing Stable Diffusion with Flux and ComfyUI or Forge on my own local workstation or server, than giving MJ the rights to something that my clients (especially corporate ones) wouldn't want them to have access to.
@@rn4490 For sure - great discussion, for work where we feed a model images to work off of, say a massing model of our designs - we use Flux and SD for the transparent IP around commercial usage. MJ is just used for inspiration/look and feel studies, not design work.
nice video!
