My first collection was more of a capsule and very cohesive. Similar fabrics and techniques woven throughout. My second looked like two different collections pasted together- I have no idea what I was trying to say. Now I am developing a new collection over a decade later and I know that editing is my best friend and cohesion is my lover.

Just a little correction: the first American creative director and couturier in a French house is not Daniel Roseberry but Jay Jaxon at Jean-Louis Scherrer. He was not just the first American but the first black man to head a French couture house. A lot of publications give this credit to Rosbery, but Jaxon's history was kind of erased; a lot of people have no idea that he was there. Anyway, the video is pretty superb.

I believe the campaign featuring the children and the punk bondage teddy bears been inspired by Demna’s experience of war and being a child in war. That’s one part of the whole thing that a lot of people overlooked and how innocence can be easily corrupted through the viciousness of war.

This terrible designer is disgracing the history of the brand. If you want to acknowledge a designer who is respecting AND enhancing a historic brand, recognize what Olivier is doing for Balmain, or what the most current designer is doing for Elsa Schapiarelli. But this crap? No way!!!
