Ryan Cook & Terra Spencer at Le Café Mariposa (Montreal)

I spent a wonderful evening listening to Ryan Cook and Terra Spencer at Le Café Mariposa. (Montreal) They were great... I love their music, writing and humour. Looking forward to seeing them again.
Bravo M. Boucher!
I can dream of owning a Boucher guitar, made with love. Great videos, very inspiring!
I am the proud owner of 2 Boucher's. My first was a "SG 52 M". Prior to gifting it to a dear friend, it was among the top 3 best sounding guitars I have ever owned or played from Boutique builders like Bourgeois. The 2nd is THE finest sounding acoustic I have ever owned and or played. It is a BG 52 GMI. The master torrefied Adirondak and premium Rosewood yields a thick, full, piano-like volume, clarity AND decay without being muddy or harsh like I have never experienced before. But for a Dread sized guitar to have the balance across all registers and be able to really "dig" in, with a flat pick, yet also provide nuance and subtlety with fingers, is extraordinary!
I want an HG 12 fret soooooo bigly😅 someday she will be mine..guaranteed. can't wait
The quality of Boucher guitars is excellent, apart from the tuners.
Much Better,, Indeed. So glad you guys building my dream Guitar.
Wonderful interview with this man, passionate Robin, I just bought a 2010 Boucher dreadnought and felt in love with it at the first few chords i played on it. Absolute magnifique!
Top🔥
What a good guy and extremely talented person. I can't wait for Monday, when my Boucher SG-51 M arrives!
Nice stuff guys
Beautiful interview. Thank you.
Very nice song and performances !
What a wonderful and knowledgeable guy. This is the kind of boss anybody would love to work for. His passion is real (as he said, it's from the heart) to make the best-sounding guitar that he can for the player. That is what you want to hear from a guitar maker. You don't need to be the biggest to be the best. What a good story (video)
Watched this with my Norman B20 on my lap. One day, I hope to play a Boucher because of the spiritual connection to the instrument that I've played for over 30 years. It has helped me express the many joys and heartbreaks in my life and has been there for me like nothing else. It's not the best guitar in the world, but it sounds and plays as good as any cedar and ply Canadian cherry can sound or play. I feel it can never be replaced, but it can still share space in my heart with an instrument from Boucher. One day.
Love listening to people who know their craft as good as he does.
I want these guys to sing at my wake...
Excellent! My compliments to you sir and your company! Cheers
Hi, really nice sound you captured, really clear and warm. Sorry but I didn´t understood what mic has recorded the sound of this clip... was it the akg shotgun? Thanks!!
Yes, AKG shotgun
This man is passionate about building the perfect guitar, everyone who owns or has played a Boucher Guitar can tell you he was successful, he's right about putting his heart and soul into every guitar 🎸 Boucher Guitars THE BEST, THANKS to Robin for taking time to do this interview, I really enjoyed it, A True Gentleman.
I am the lucky owner of a Boucher SG-42 purchased last year from G& G Music, I have to say it is one of the best guitars 🎸 I've ever played, sounds amazing, Robin and his crew build great guitars, the craftsmanship is impressive, their guitars are BEAUTIFUL ❤
Looking forward to get one one day. Not even for me but for my daughter. That would be certainty be a gift for life.
To love Guitars, is to love Robin Boucher....
Robin is the man!! Congratulations on all your success! I will sell my Gibson Songwriter Deluxe Studio some day and will own a Boucher!!
I sold a Martin D35 to raise money for my Boucher 3 years ago... no regrets!
I must have one this kind of energy in a guitar……how inspirational
I think this man is a truthful person at least he seems to be I am a fan of several guitar companies I hope to own one of the guitars he has made with the rarest woods I think it’s a little look into the natural process of resonance or just the beautiful wood itself and from what I can hear they sound amazing
i WAS on the fence.....martin/ gibson.....definately going to find a dealer close to me, gotta try a Boucher guitar
Incroyable! Great story, now I need a Boucher guitar!!!!
I own many guitars, mostly Martins. But two days ago I bought a Boucher SG52V. It's the one I've been looking for all these years, (I'm 72) Thanks to J. P. Cormier for making me aware of Robin and his great work. And thanks to Robin for not just building wonderful guitars, but also for building a quality Canadian company.
Is there a reason for why your finish only comes in gloss and not satin, besides the neck?
I believe there is a reason... but you should ask Boucher directly: info@boucherguitars.com
Thanks. I have asked. Just waiting for their response. @@acousticguitarcanada
Is it possible to take a 40 year old guitar with a great top wood with non-scalloped braces and rebuild it by scallopping the braces and replacing the back and sides with solid wood? And would that be worthwhile?
You could ask that question within the Acoustic Guitar Canada Facebook Group. Many of the members build or repair guitars. facebook.com/groups/acousticguitarcanada/
Six years ago I said I was done buying guitars. I have five and had some before that that I had others that I sold. But now after hearing the Boucher guitar and listening to Robin, I am thinking about selling two of my guitars and putting some money with them and buying a Boucher.
I own a 12-fret Bouther... and in the midst of selling 2 Martins so I can buy a 14-fret.
Great video very instructive. Thank you for sharing and congratulations also to Robin Boucher for being able to express himself with such quality in the language of Shakespeare !
I've been playing a Norman B20 for about 30 years. Watching this makes me really want to get my hands on a Boucher and see if it fits.
i loved every second of this video. went from pretty interested in Boucher guitars to 'is there even another serious choice'!? wow!
Top🙏
your the best
Thank you Robin for the introduction of yourself and Guitar Manufacturing processes... I do not own a Bucher Acoustic Guitar, but as John Cormier aptly demonstrates, they are Very Best quality and compliments to your Team of Luthiers... ... As the owner of Six Acoustic Guitars, various Brands and Models, various Timber constructions and also Ages, your Presentation is interesting and informative... It is "Good" to be able to work within your desired Passion... Priceless !
One day I'll own a guitar made by Robin Boucher
Super Cool interview Robin, juste une petite note, mon ami Michel Robidoux avait lui aussi des guitares Boucher, et je croyait que tu en avait fabriquer une pour Mme. Joni Mitchell, Bonne continuation !
This is a lovely, lovely interview. I hope one day to afford a Boucher. Someday. 🙏

MASTER at WORK at Least I Don't have to look any FARTHER for my GUITAR Company I'm PAULY ROAD MANAGER for MICHAEL ALLMAN GREGG'S Oldest Son I Have Provided GUITAR s for the BAND NOW I Found the ONE!
I’m wondering why Boucher doesn’t build a Double O model guitar?
I have had my Boucher for a couple of months now and can't put it down. It is the very best guitar that I have played in 60 years. This guitar almost plays by it's self. It is the perfection of an instrument! Thank you Robin, you have built my dream guitar!!!!!!
you ruined great content by splitting up into pieces where each part is way too short.
You can see the full version here: ruclips.net/video/kgPqYa6K4r0/видео.html

What a passionate man… but the way he talks just cracks me up 😅
Those guitars sound AMAZING! Just to hear a chord strummed is such a beautiful sound! What a treasure! (I heard J.P. Cormier playing his!) SALUTE!
