One of the “matches” that made me was RayRay asking me to run a bunch of games on a random empty setup at Combo Breaker one year because he wanted to play against a Wolverine. I didn’t win any but learned a lot.

It cant be understated how much better rayray looks with facial hair.

Hands down my Marvel 3 GOAT. This guy is one of my main inspirations in Marvel 3, and what I tried to tailor my style towards since 2012. Ray is one of the very VERY few players who plays the game in a Marvel 2 & 3 style combined. Can’t really explain it, but there’s a reason it’s said that he has the best assist calls in the business, everything he does is clean, and with intent, not impulse.

I noticed RayRay pretty early, because everything he did in those matches was smart and exciting to watch. To me he'll always be one of the UMvC3's true champions.

Ray Ray's Magneto's smoothment is the cleanest and most stylish. Milky's is second in my opinion.

The RayRay vs Moons set revealed so much Nova tech. You could tell Yipes/Steve were tripping out with some of the stuff they were seeing. Outside of a super good set, Moons' Nova was like the reference point to a lot of modern day Nova play imo.
