@@ASB88 I’m 17.7cm and with tang on the Helm 3rd from the top is tight 4th is a loose fit. With deployant the 4th from top is a perfect fit. (top meaning counting from the watch head side)

@@watchgambit may not agree with what? You don’t answer the question - did you pay full retail for these straps or did Artem send them too you for free? It’s a simple and honest query.

@@drdesign6886 I do apologise I did not register that as a question. I did state on the video that we have a collab and I did receive the straps foc but paid the vat at border. I have prebioudly also bought Artem products. The video explains availability, tech. features and my user experience like any other review. It is overall positive because I do like what they do and it has little to do with said collab.

@@watchgambit so it’s sponsored content. You need to add the sponsored tag to your video. These are expensive straps and clasps - that high value is in effect a payment. And it undoubtedly impacts your review - so tell your audience that. I’ve purchased an Artem strap myself - it’s fine not great - it’s worth about a quarter what they charge at best. Had I got it free I’d be grand with it though.

I found out, that 100% moisturised air can penetrate a watch much easier than actual water. So extensive sweating, especially when the watch is covered by a sleeve for example, gives a pocket of 100% saturated air surrounding the watch. Walk in the rain in a forest for hours and find out your watch has condensation on the inside of the glass. You don't have to dive into the ocean, to get water inside your watch. A water tight watch is not an airtight watch. Nobody seems to test this. Start to workout in the gym. You start sweating. Under the watch is sweat and air. You don't dive, but the effect on the watch is cruel.

In all honesty it is a tough choice. Comes down to taste really so I’d go for the piercing blue dial and grade 5 almost indestuctible case.

Both great watches. I’ve had the 025 and it didn’t wear well on my bony wrist. I’ll pull a Spork if I can find a mint one but other than that I’m propably retired… meanwhile my other side of brain says … mmmm Omiwatari… 😅

Hi. Lighter, higher, better finish and obviously the spring drive magic versus the pretty good 8L I have in my SLA. I’ll put it this way that I wouldn’t mind selling my MM300 but the SNR is mine forever

@watchgambit stoked to hear, this will be my next timepiece. Edit: these are a man's man's watch. They're meant to look big and badass and also be legible and badass. I'm really excited. I recently bought a Seiko srq029 automatic speedtimer and it's 16mm too (but 2mm is the sapphire crystal, which is beautiful), so I kind of know 16mm size isn't as big as people want to talk sh*te about it. They'd for sure buy one if they could afford it, but the high-end seikos like the lx line seems so out of grasp for 95% of people's budget. So they hate on it and claim they'd rather have a GS or whatever 🙄. I'm not dismissing their opinion on that these are big watches, they are, but thats the point of the design. Having the highest end Seiko is cool in of itself, a spring drive... I'm buying what I like, not what other people like haha. The omega planet ocean is bigger at 16mm+ and a lot of people seem to absolutely love those. Yours is so nice dude! I'm blown away by how good it looks, pictures do not do justice. Great video 😊

Maybe the original 70’s diver heritage limited the design? It would be so good with ceramic though I agree

"Waaaa... it's not ceramic. Waaaaa." Go get a ceramic sub homage if you want wrist jewelry. This watch is a real diver; and real tool divers use aluminum and steel inserts, not brittle ceramic or sapphire.

For me it depends quite a lot on the price range we are talking about

@@watchgambit I'd still take Japanese, regardless of price 🤣. That's not to say there aren't decent swiss watches or they make inferior watches. I love the Tudor BB58 and Omega speedy . They're two of my favourite looking watches but I'm just drawn to Japanese...my favourite watch of all time a Casio 🤣
