I played Blue Lions/Azure Moon as my third route (I played Crimson Flower first and Silver Snow second), but it became my favorite route quickly. Dimitri is my favorite character of all time, and I love him very much. This song screams Blue Lions to me, tbh.

Christmas 2018. I still remember it so clearly. Back then, I was totally hooked on this RUclipsr from my country. On a cold, misty Christmas morning, I randomly came across one of his videos: a Let’s Play of Resident Evil 7: Biohazard. I just put it on while watching RUclips TV, not really expecting much. It seemed like just another weird horror game. But then, over the holidays, I ended up watching all 20 videos from his playlist. Not even in order...just random ones every night. I’d lie on the couch with a bowl of cheese chips and a hot chocolate, and somehow, this game became super special to me. A year later, I was still rewatching his RE7 videos over and over. I started watching other RUclipsrs play it too. And at some point, I really wanted to try the game myself. So, the next Christmas, I finally got it as a gift, two years after it came out. Even though I already knew the story and most of what happened, playing it felt so different. I kept finding secrets that weren’t in the videos, and the atmosphere of the game sucked me right in. The music, the creepy sounds...it made me pay more attention to stuff like that in every other game I played after. And yeah, even though I knew most of the jumpscares, some still got me good. I watched playthroughs of the DLCs from other creators, downloaded them, and replayed both the DLCs and the main game so many times. I unlocked all trophies, weapons, and items. It never got boring because I’d always try something new. Like figuring out new ways to deal with Jack, who is still kinda terrifying, not gonna lie lol. Sometimes, I’d even pause the game just to sit there and listen to the sounds, like the wind when you’re on the shipwreck. When Resident Evil Village came out, I was so excited. This time, I played it myself before watching anyone else’s videos. It was amazing, but for some reason, it just didn’t hit the same way as RE7. Then, something happened that really got to me. I bought a PS5 and wanted to replay RE7 again. But when I selected the game and heard this music, it felt like something inside me broke. I just sat there, staring at the screen, feeling like I should cry but not actually crying. That music hit me so hard. It made me realize that Resident Evil 7: Biohazard would always be better than its sequel. But at the same time, it’s a game that’ll slowly be forgotten over the years. These days, I’m always looking for old playlists or playthroughs of the game on RUclips, trying to relive those moments. But I’ve probably seen everything by now. Still, I love this game with all my heart. Every Christmas, I go back and play it again. And now, nearly six years after it first came out, I’ve decided to play it one last time. I want to enjoy every second of it. No matter what, I’ll always remember this game. Resident Evil 7 will always have a special place in my heart. Thanks for reading my super long story. Maybe I’m not the only one who feels this way about the game. And maybe you also get why the music from it feels so emotional.

I like to think that Edelgard throwing the dagger wasn’t desperation or some kind of grudge. Rather, it’s her way of returning what he said to her: to use his blade to cut his own path, even if his path lays over her grave. She knows she cannot stop fighting, but also knows Dimitri truly doesn’t want to kill her. With all her exhaustion she’s probably unable to speak, so she delivers her message the only way she can: the oath of the dagger.

I listened through all 81 tracks in the official re7 ost release and this song is not in it nor named, so i literally think its just called the ps4/ps5 theme version of go tell aunt rhody and has no real name beyond that

It makes me remember memories that are sad from the game but never actually saw it….

Why does this feel scary, sad & a bit calm? I can understand the scary & sadness if you play the game but not once did I ever feel calm while playing RE7 except whenever I got to a safe room & hear that nice music.
