My top 3 movies was Wicked, Dune part 2 and the wild robot. There are 2 movies that you mentioned that I had never heard of but sound very interesting so I will give those a watch. Also if I had film concerts near those sound like they would be a lot of fun. The musicals too. Thanks for the video. It was a joy to watch.

Loved One Day! I watched it twice because it hit me so hard the first time. It actually made me feel a bit nostalgic since it takes place during 1988 - 2007 and we get to feel the passage of time with it. Made me yearn for more youthful days. I watched the Anne Hathaway movie after. I didn’t like it but I could be biased lol. I liked Origin! Really thought provoking. The scenes with the Untouchables caste in India!! Wow. Birds of a Feather is a bop!! Def one of my favorite songs last year. I didn’t really like The Wild Robot for some reason. It was good but didn’t really hit me in the way it seems to have hit other people. I saw Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban live in concert. That was the last score John Williams did for the film series. It was great!

I really loved the show it made a great depication on black woman and the struggles of stereotypes in daily life

HBO MAX needs to acquire this asap. I cannot go the city to watch it.

I can't stop talking about this film since I saw it 😭😭 hadn't even thought about Robbie Williams in years but what a treat this film was. It's so disappointing how people are being so negative and stubborn without giving it a chance!

If this movie is really so great then they shouldn't have done such a piss-poor job of selling it, because no amount of glowing word-of-mouth will make me interested in yet another C-lister's long overdue attempt to cash in on the biopic genre just because he was played as a chimpanzee. That doesn't make it interesting or worthwhile. If the movie really is more than that then they should have made a trailer that indicated that.

Deserves to pick up oscars. No film can beat it

I haven't seen it yet, but as an American I always knew who he was. I didn't know anything past Millennium, but the movie looks good to me, so I downloaded his Apple Essentials Playlist and I 100% get it. I love most of his songs, and now I really want to see the movie. Loved this review too!

Watched it last night. I grimmaced when I first heard he was making a biopic, so I definitely never thought I'd have the Robbie Williams biopic as one of the best entertainment biopics I've ever seen!! Genuinely creative, shockingly honest and raw, and surprisingly emotional.

I checked and technically, they split the 2nd season of Squid Games into 2 parts. So, you are right, this season did feel "unfinished"! Edit: Yes, Netflix is killing it with its adult animation offerings, esp. the video games' adaptations! 🤩🤩🤩

I never watched the the stage musical of Wicked and I didn’t really know what it was about, so I was on the fence about watching it because I love Cynthia Erivo and Jonathan Bailey. I watched another channel’s review of Wicked that had really nothing good to say about it so I was thinking that I wouldn’t watch it. Then I watched your review and to be honest my taste in movies seem to be closer to yours then the person from the other channel so I decided to watch from your amazing review. The issue I have with the retcons- it makes simba and scars relationship make no sense. if there was a huge betrayal of adoptive brothers and mufasa doesnt trust scar why would mufasa let scar 'babysit' simba? just to maintain authotrity that they stole scars blood right and replaced the lline with his own?

i so agree with you with the sebastian win for a different man! i’m so sad this movie didn’t get any promo and didn’t get talked about at all. i watched it as a part of a small movie festival and i’m so glad they showed it, otherwise i would’ve missed it

Demi and Zoe deserved it over Ariana and Cynthia. Even though Wicked had a enormous budget and more push. Hollywood got it right with these two wins..Well deserved. Hope Demi get that Oscar nomination. Long overdue.

I feel like they retconned Mufasa as being unrelated to Taka/Scar to avoid the weirdness of TLK2 where everyone and their mom was saying Kovu was NOT Scar's son (despite the massive resemblance) so that him and Kiara wouldn't be cousins (even though, yknow, the plot didn't REALLY make sense unless he WAS Scar's bio son)...so now if they do a live action TLK2 they can just avoid any lion incest allegations? I feel like that's the most logical reasoning, aside from what you said here, to make Mufasa and Scar adoptive and not biological brothers (even though that's still kinda weird because Kiara and Kovu would still be cousins even if unrelated but whateverrrrr)
