I think the Atlantic Ocean will be very rough all week as the Tropical storm over the Carolinas will stir up large waves up the East Coast. I wonder how far is OC from the Gulf Stream were I suppose most of the large fish are ?

Was lucky to never start or finish my yearly week vacation in OC during that or air show weekend. My son got stuck in a large traffic backup a few years ago leaving OC after the air show was over. To make matters worse he just spent over $500 to have his car pass inspection and one of the new wheel bearings burnt up and after several frantic phone calls finally located a rental car. Place that did the work luckily paid for car rental.😊

He could 'feel' towards the middle or end of August that Ocean City was changing, away from summer. Will we get that same feeling this year? Let us know.

True. Walking across the dunes especially after being away for a long time is a great feeling.

We used to go to Ocean City for a week every summer and we had 'invisible rules', LOL, I guess you'd call it. We wouldn't go to the beach before 9am, unless it was to take a walk or look for shells, and we'd be back in our motel around 3:30pm or 4:00pm for a required nap, which is needed if you're swimming, dodging waves or body surfing.
