Thanks you for your tutorial, it's great! But i have problem with chase state. When AI chasing my character, AI jitter/shakes... I can't find solution for it. Character movement processed in FixedUpdate. Camera fixed on character
if the camera is child to player, that's causing it

2 years late comment and I imagine you already know... In the Dash FSM, inside "set vector3 xyz" and enabling "every frame" with "y = 0" fix the problem to dashing up when jumping. Nice video and thank you to show it by the way.

What a genius! Global broadcast, send string information, string information contains ID and content, receive string information, store it into an array, decompose the information into ID and content, if the ID matches the player, then do the next content, cool! The perfect way!

did you ever fix the issue when the player gets too close to the enemy and it just shakes the camera like crazy? i just locked the camera when the player gets too close the enemy cheap fix but it just works

Another interesting topic, it’s a pity that nothing is clear. No one has an example of how to use it with character controller rather than following a goal.
Very useful information. But I don't understand why you're using this example. It would be much more useful to show how the player finds the path to the target that the Player has clicked.
I have problems with borders. When I set Box collider, player just moves outside the box, idk why

Thank you for this great tutorial about free form catesian that nobody did, but I have a problem with with the stand turn left and right, I pass the value from the mouselook to the rotation parameter and it works fine for everything else except stand turn left and right, I see the parameter value change but the animation isn't working, I baked the animation, however its not working. maybe it has something to do with the mouse range, like it keeps going and prevents the animation from playing but I don't know. this is the script for passing the value ( float cameraYaw = mainCamera.transform.rotation.eulerAngles.y; transform.rotation = Quaternion.Slerp(transform.rotation, Quaternion.Euler(0, cameraYaw, 0), turnSpeed * Time.fixedDeltaTime); float rotationDifference = Mathf.DeltaAngle(cameraYaw, transform.rotation.eulerAngles.y); float scaledRotation = rotationDifference / rotationScale; animator.SetFloat("Rotation", scaledRotation); ) I scaled the rotation to stay in range of 1 and -1, without this it also doesn't turn left and right anytips would help? should clamp the scaled rotation to be on the safe side. is the value in the animator changing? and is there other logic also changing the rotation? and rotation scale is 180? or 90 and then -1 ?
@@littleowlgaming-unity-tutorial the value us changing in the animator and no other logic is interfering with it, not sure what you mean by rotation scale. I kinda made it work by adding conditions to the blend tree if the rotation is bigger than a certain but the animation is jittering and wont complete. But in the animation inspector of the blend tree its completely working, but in game its jittery. I have no idea why.
mouse axis is jittery as is. try using a float smooth or float damp with it@@AriaZed

Important note: If you are using the Set Mouse Cursor action specifically with the "Lock Cursor" bool checked, this will not work. The logic depends on your mouse being able to move freely. The best work around I have is to send events when dragging the door to disable the cursor lock. If anybody else knows a better way let me know. I am going to look into other ways to set mouse cursor.
instead of get mouse X/Y just use get axis. and use Mouse X and Mouse Y for the vertical/horizontal in the axis. for if the mouse cursor is locked
Unfortunately, the 'Activate Solo' action is not available in playmaker version 1.9.0 And also not included in the Ecosystem 0.6.11 Any help?
upgrade to 1.9.6 if possible. or use an array. collect all the objects. deactivate everything in the array, then activate the object you want in the after

how do you make one for 2d ?
Having a little trouble with the AI seeing the player when he is behind a wall, But everything else is working. I am very interested in this excellent tutorial and learning a lot. Thank you so much. Currently, the AI always sees the player even if behind the walls. It takes true dedication to follow along, with what you do. But worth the knowledge!
