ya, ive been slowly pushing in... lots of small things. and still lots to come. but little things, like camera shakes, multiple sounds effects, screen flashes, scaling bumps on objects is a great way to bring players in
Thanks 👍 ive been going hard on the combat system last few days, which is why i didnt show it as much in this video. since i still have some things im working on. but its doing well, recently, i added in a damage absorption system, so different armor has different levels of absorption. so even a hit to the players health, a percent will get divided up towards the armor. which is all in, but i havent fully linked it to the combat description system yet
Looking crazy sensei Brokn! By the way I think the combat should be speeded up a bit, specially when rolling the dice is very slow and caused me a bit of anxiety just by looking at it hehe.
haha ya. been working on some way to speed it up. its fairly slow. the dungeons, typically only have 5-10 monster, with the focus being more on puzzles and choices. like in the cultist lair you can avoid fighting completely and still achieve some goals. but the combat in general is a lil slow.

Also, really shows why SFX are important for the feel of a game. Nice SFX!
