Somatic Exercises for Trans and Queer Communities
In this video, I dive into somatic exercises to help heal self-sabotaging behaviors often experienced by individuals within the LGBTQIA+ community. It's important to recognize that traditional mindset work alone may not be sufficient in tackling issues such as perfectionism, procrastination, people-pleasing, and overthinking. These behaviors often run deep within our nervous system, requiring a holistic approach for true healing.
In my practice, I integrate hypnotherapy, breathwork, and nervous system regulation to help folks from over the world release blocks so they can show up as their authentic selves. I'd love to work with you. :)

Thanks for the reminder! I've been taking singing lessons for a little while before I realized I was bigender and my singing teacher was always reminding be of neck alignment 😅 Funny enough, now that I know what I "am", I realize why I've always been attracted to songs that were either super low or super high 😂 my voices wanted to separate!

    • @Definetlyofficialtemuaccount

Intonation is pretty important. like the parts of the phrases you put emphasis in. try to keep a steady pitch throughtout the sentence, ending phrases on a higher note makes you sound more "feminine" I think pitch variation is what makes a voice more masculine or feminine (think of the gay accent) I tried this, and keeping my voice monotone did a lot for masculinization! Though I get how that can be something that you don't want, an emotionless voice can make you come off as unaproachable. (Sorry If I made any mistaskes, english isn't my native language.)

I really love that how can my subconscious beliefs about myself become aligned with my conscious goals. I see my psychologist next week and I think I will bring this up with him. Affirmations are great but I think also if we think in terms of an identity shift like I am the kind of person that is well spoken, heard and what I have to say has value is good way to bring about change because we think of ourselves in a new way. I think it's harder to make lasting changes when we're still stuck thinking of ourselves with those old beliefs.

I'm hoping you could help me.. I was prescribed testosterone cream by my doctor because my levels were super low going into perimenopause. The dose was way too high and I didn't realize it until about 2 months in I suddenly couldn't sing songs I've sang my whole life. I completely lost my mid range. I went from an alto (I've been an alto my whole life) do damn near a baritone that quickly. When I brought it to her attention she cut the dose way down and I kept taking it hoping my voice would go back but it hasn't. I finally stopped taking it all together and am desperate to get my voice back. It's so deep and it cracks like a kid in puberty. I still have my falsetto, but my entire mid range is gone.. I can't even hit the high end of tenor without going into falsetto. I'm devastated and praying that there is some rehab I can do to work out my vocal cords and get some of that mid range back. Any thoughts?

So your description of this problem sounds like it applies to me. Tho i still am not sure if the discomfort i experience when speaking and afterwards is related to this or something else entirely
