I've been hoping to get a diesel soon but looks like I'm just going to have to find something else to do 25% Tariffs for Mexico and Canada on Feb 1st where most of these manufacturers moved their production because it's cheaper and the sad thing is that tariffs don't change the price at all except for the end consumer these countries won't see any effect at all except on the sales side.

You could get a dually with a trailer haul 2 or 3 camper then have your wife drive the truck your in then haul your truck back make money as a husband and wife.

I started with Indiana Transport on January 7th and I’m not having problems getting loads and our load board is showing anywhere from 50 to 75 loads a day

I'm in multi-haul I've been able to stay busy for the last 2 years however last week I did a single because there were no loads. I will say the money is alot better but still inconsistent. I've been looking for a second income to suplimate when rv transport is slow.

I worked for Synergy for three years and it is always slow in the winter, They even stop hiring new drivers an don't start again until the middle to end of February. Good idea to get ahead on things in November, because when things pick up I always had to run hard to catch up. Hang in there, the key is get ahead annd stay ahead. Slow season is also the start of the year. Usually from right before Christmas until 2 weeks after new years, the manufacturers are shut down. Then you gotta give em another week or 2 for production to resume. I've never liked the way these carriers and recruiters don't mention the twice a year shut downs. Nonetheless I'm glad you have some work keeping you busy. I'm looking at some part time work as well until I can get back into a new truck. Keep your head up bud. I know you got this!

You do what you need to do. Find other avenues that your truck can make money not just in RV transport. There is plenty of company’s that needs small loads delivered inside Indiana I bet. If Synergy is slow, nothing wrong exploring other RV Transports. Good Luck.

The name of the game is “own authority”. There’s a lot of business that you can get off the loadboards that’ll sustain you. Instead of just pulling rvs you can pull anything power only, as long as you have the right insurance.

You're lucky there's no loads for every mile you pull a trailer you lose about 10 cents a mile with a older truck. With a new truck, you go in the hole about 30 cents a mile these rv transport companies just wear out your truck while they wait for the next sucker to come along😢

I feel your pain we have just one load since first of December. Also at synergy. Glad it is just a hobby for us.

Some guys saying few of the other transport companies have picked up so maybe Synergy is a little behind others.

What were the symptoms of the blower going out? I only have full blast, no other speeds. Did the resistor twice and also the blower motor once. Fixed the problem got all my speeds again, but now I only have full blast again. Just curious if you lost some of your fan speeds before you replaced the motor.

Time for a newer truck. Time wasted making repairs on that old dodge is costing you money . Time is money in that industry.
