Smash Ultimate Sheik Guide - Combo Tree
All of the combos were tested with DI out + airdodge w/ an arduino unless stated in the video.
Sorry for the wait and thank you for watching everyone. This has taken way too long, and by the time I was finished with the labbing, Void had made headline coverage on footstool dair and IDJ stuff, so I had to add a bit of that to the video, which delayed it a bit.

for the past many months following smash ultimate's release, we've noticed many resources and information about sheik has been scattered, lost, and even incorrect. so we've finally decided to begin to compile information and complementary footage to start to craft a series of videos that provide info that is tested and as accurate as possible. killing has been one of sheik's most difficult task...

Even if the combo counter doesn't say it's true how can it be true
By checking di and escape options. Example is checking di in and out and airdodge as well as seeing if your opponet can jump out Also frame 1 or two escape options like lucina up b and witch time
The implications of sub 10% percent combos being some of the most deadly in terms of controlling the stage, damage, potential for ledgetraps and edge guarding, are pretty terrifying. Sheik really is a character of strong starts, getting touched once by a Sheik with a good punish game could put them so far ahead.
jab jab to down tilt isn't a true combo... also full hop rising needle is also her worst confirm as the game will either b-reverse while rising for no reason or do a side b for no reason the vast majority of the time. Even when/if the stars align and the game doesn't b-reverse or side b, BF sometimes won't even come out until you've touched the ground making the confirm no longer a true combo. AND EVEN WHEN IT WORKS, sometimes BF still wont combo. To the players wanting to learn Sheik, don't use while rising needles as a confirm unless it's a short hop. The odds are already against you, you don't need RNG as an opponent too.

ik this is late but keep the stick neutral immediately after jumping, the momentum from either dashing or holding forward AS you jumped NOT after should be enough, for the bouncing fish you have to time to get one out if you needle early enough and buffer a bouncing fish

I don’t know how to do the nair chains I can’t fastfall fast enough
hmm not sure if this will help, but I like to use the short hop macro (2 jump buttons). Not having to worry about the shorthop gives me an extra split second to focus on getting a peak nair and then fastfall. Also for me, I've had better success letting go of the move stick after the dash instead of trying to manually move it back to neutral

I must acknowledge how great it is to finally see a new sheik guide! The information here is very relevant and exactly what I have been waiting for for quite a while. Its nice to see down throw combos given the credit they deserve. Also I can see there is a lot of inspiration from Void here and I approve :)
