Thing looks so cool with aero disc, but that is probably going to fall off during a track day lol

Manthey Racing uses the aero disc style wheel on the rear only of the Porsche GT cars and supplies ducting to cool the brakes from the inside, so lift and drag gets canceled out.

honestly, buy what you can afford (if it's cast 57DRs, then it's cast 57DRs, or Konigs, or Enkeis, or Rotas, etc.). if ppl snub their noses at your decision, then next time, they can buy the item for you. it's the whole 911 <-> Boxster argument. stop playing w/my emotions. I think the MRK1 w/arodisk is near perfection. my wrx is screaming for them...but, I don't want a -38 offset on a 18x9.5 5x114.3...I want a -44/45, but no luck. I've already asked Konig to make the plastic arodisk in other colors to broaden the appeal vs just a single white or silver color.🍸

White on white would look great on my red Abarth. I already have the optional forged 17” in white but this would look great still. The weight is unfortunate though.

Sounds to me like that centerlock nut is going to need some anti seize. That said, I can see the value of this wheel. It seems pretty focused on what it's intending to be and I do think that older euro race car style is the target. Wouldn't mind seeing it on the right build out in the wild.

I kinda like the look of these without the disc and that lug cover. It looks like wheel for GT3 class car. That aerodisc is just cherry on top.

After looking again, I thought the aero disc nubs could line up with the spokes but it doesn't which is a bummer and an improvement Konig could make in a MRK2

Obvs the turbo-fan aesthetic is gorgeous, but... do the plastic covers actually stay on under any kind of spirited driving? Do these 'Arocovers' actually provide any kind of real cooling / aero benefits? Or are they just for aesthetics?
