The animation ruins the story.
This video brings back so many great memories of Trainz & MSTS videos from my childhood. Amazing work!
@@Paublo79 thank you! I love your run 8 videos!
Kino stuff, well done. Looking forward to 4449's story!
In case everybody doesn't know what Foamer means: "Far Out Addle Minded Idiot Train Enthusiast" (originally Foamite)
Nice to see the young guys continuing with railfanning, this guy is serious, carrying a backpack shooting with a real camera (cell phones are not cameras) chasing trains by car, the only thing I don't see is a handheld scanner for monitoring the radio traffic, no big deal. Keep foaming kid, document everything on the tracks!
@@marengtech313 Good deal if a phone works for you, I prefer the heft of a full body DSLR which helps steady the camera while shooting. Besides that, I hate having to use my cell phone for anything, LOL.
Really really neat production. One of the best pieces of railfan content I’ve seen in a long while
Hell yeah brotha
Speaking of pure cinema....
4:50 the 1000 rail stare
This is epic.
wow this is cool! I've been to hill 582 and it has a vibe! you great video at the bottom of the cajon pass there is a WIRX tunnel motor that switches a grain elevator I don't know when it switches though
Yeah, it switches on demand, only when needed. Its super unpredictable, but if you ever see it running its a good day of spotting!
@@ModernLstudios great! thanks for the info! speaking of tunnel motors trona railroad is getting rid of their tunnel motors because of our lovely California air recourses board he says with sarcasm if you haven't been get em while you can!
@@trc2005 Oh really? I've been wanting to go up there, any idea when they usually run?
@@ModernLstudios they run Monday through Friday not on weekends but it's worth it! there is no guarantee they will actually run thought because the units are so old something might break. so just pick a Friday and go for it
the trona railway they run monday through friday and they are about 1 hour from Tehachapi! the also have a kodachrome SD40R that i caught! last one in revenue service! but they will be scrapping and replacing their tunnel motors in 2025 so get em while you can!
Great documentary dude! You nailed it!
This looks like something CNN would make🔥
Awesome story here, even in death 4268 still helps trains over the hill at Cajon Pass. This just feels so heartwarming and peaceful like helping these trains is how he came to peace with the accident that took his life too soon
Where I Railfan at is either in my small hometown in Central Kentucky or a nearby Mainline that sees 10-20 Trains daily about 30 minutes from where i live both are lines operated by Norfolk Southern. I also have a couple of RJ Corman lines in Lexington, Bluegrass Railroad Museum which is 10 minutes from where i live and sometimes volunteer at, and then a couple of CSX Lines that are both an hour from my house. I'd honestly say I'm in a fairly good spot for several different lines. Awesome video here by the way
Fellow Kentucky railfan Wsg
Bravo!!! Great video!!
excellent video
Foamers of the world unite! You have nothing to lose but your trains!
Dude this needs more recognition this is fucking dope 🙌🙌

Incredible production Zach. An amazing story!
So skib
Amazing.
Where i Railfan, its a siding so for where i railfan red lights are better.
Now this is awesome Zach
Hell yeah brother!!

Over 100 miles an hour : magnificent.
Andrew(SP 4449 in my universe):I Got My Own Movie? That’s So Cool
Nice
Can I be a narrator please
If I’d voiced this, I would make a hood version 😂
A simple and effective story with great cinematography. This is one of those gems that reaffirms less is indeed more. Awesome job!
I like the the song you use from one republic Counting stars
I remember when people used to laugh about the idea of a big boy returning the steam, but the Union Pacific made it happen and made many dreams come true about it
