I love the videos! It’s my home and so nice to admire it in your videos. I think for people who live there it is extortionate! Average wage is $600 (that is if you are able to secure a decent job) and for a pensioner $200. With tourism increase it is getting much harder for people who live there. Not to mention a mass migration increasing in numbers! Thanks for sharing my lovely country :)

My husband is Albanian, he owns an apartment in Tirana so we’ve been there a couple of times. Tirana is very up and coming and very safe and clean, not to mention cheap. I was impressed with Tirana. Albania is a very pretty country with natural beauty and the people were very friendly.

The rough seas are due to all of the strange weather we’ve been living thru on the east coast (mid Atlantic), and the entire country. The winter months are supposed to be the best months for cruising. The rough seas are not a normal thing for the winter. I don’t know who told you that. If you cruise during the summer it’s very hot and humid in that neck of the woods, and you are subject to having to go around or through thunderstorms and avoiding the hurricanes at all costs. Talk about missing a port of call, imagine having to deal with those storms. Good luck with your future cruises. For the record, I have been on 3 Virgin cruises on Valiant, Scarlett and Resilient (in New Zealand and Australia). I have also cruised on Carnival, Norwegian, and Royal. Virgin has been the best, hands down.

We absolutely love Virgin. It was so nice seeing your experiences as first-timers. FYI there are a max of 2770 passengers on VV but they always leave a select number of cabins empty for emergencies or whatnot. So the ships never feel completely packed even when they are full.
