Hey Everyone! I am passionate about Jeeps of all kinds from 1941-to current day. My favorites are the CJ7's and what a lot of my videos will be out. I am not a professional mechanic, rather I go wheeling, wrench, and just have fun with Jeeps as a hobby. If anything I say in any of my videos is inaccurate, let me know i am glad to correct! My goal is to help share info and hopefully entertain like minded individuals.

I made my own tool to install the rivets for the grill welting on my 1947 Willys Jeep CJ2a. You can buy a tool like this, but if you have some scrap steal, a welder, and a channel lock you can make your own.

Fire! Almost burnt my Willys Jeep CJ2a to the ground!
Просмотров 945Год назад
Scary! the wiring for my new fuel gauge arched and started a fire behind the dash, thankfully i put it out in time! Be careful, even with new wires and new parts when wiring up your classic car. With no fuses or relays you can be in for some real trouble. Thankfully my Willys Jeep CJ2a survived!

Outanding F150. I own a 2017 F150 FX4 4X4 XLT 5.0L 302A with tow pkg. It listed for 48k in 2017. It has 104272 miles and drives like brand new. You picked the perfect F150.
👍👑🤞
5.0 v8❤❤❤❤❤
😂😂 FORD is garbage period 😂😂
The little hanger I belive is for your phone charging cord to keep it out of the way
have any idears where to get a self canceling turn signal switch like that ? thank you
the only way it could self cancel is if it was part of the column itself, i don’t think they make a bolt on. unless there is one that just shuts off after a period of time.
Base starts at 39k ? this one has the 103 package i guess because it doesn't have fog lights! 103a has the chrome bumpers with fog lights! I'd just get the base with the 5.0, put a 3 inch lift level kit, and some Raptor wheels&Tire set. maybe add fog lights later, that more than enough power.
Good lookin truck although I prefer GM. The word you were searching for is fenderwell liners. Skirts are what make an 82 Olds 98 look long and low LOL
I have an XL for work and I really like the updated trim and info center on yours. My only complaint with this fleet style is my feet FREEZE in the winter. There must be absolutely no insulating materials under the floorboard on these.
I am looking for a truck just like this. What is the payload capacity?
Real nice!
thank you!
any issues or anything? would appreciate an update on it
no everything is great - got about 10k miles. the sound is good for me, one or two folks have commented about some droning at highway speeds
thats crazy they want +40k and wont even put mud guards or rustoleum
Thank you for these two videos. I'm seriously thinking of this exact truck. Can you tell me about the stereo sound? Is it just two speakers and is it just so so? Or?
i think it’s 4 speakers - i would say it’s so so … it’s the best stock/base stereo i have had in a truck from factory and is decent at normal volume but if you crank it up it leaves a lot to be desired
@@jeepcjgarage Thank you.
Why are you breathing so heavy during the unboxing ? Sounds medical
FP700 package on the XL standard cab is. Over 700 horsepower with the factory warranty for about $50,000
no door on the glove box but you get a tv , this is not a work truck it is a snitch and you pay for that and you can keep it
I’ve always bought 4 doors bc I was told you had to if you were tall (I’m 6’5”) but I feel like they looks a lot like my crew cab in terms of driver leg/head room?
i’m 5’7 and i have plenty of room - same as my 4 door full size ram before this .. i think you would likely be fine the seat seems to move back just like a normal drivers seat would and headroom is the same
Yeah your missing the trans splash guard. Thats what screws up under there.
How far back do the seats tilt/recline?
Nice truck. Curious how you did the rustoleum paint. Did you remove parts to spray?
i didn’t remove anything - just cleaned the area with some air and then a grease:wax remover … but for the most part just sprayed it on - i did it before driving the truck much so there wasn’t really any major junk built up on anything. i also used a piece of cardboard past the item i was spraying so that the overspray wouldn’t travel .. the way i figure it anything you do there is better than nothing .. i have had great luck with simple/cheap rustoleum over the years
Beautiful bro
I snagged a complete virgin 401 with 52k on the odometer out of a 77 Wagoneer back in Feb 2024. Dude didnt know what he had and let go of it cheap. Depending on how good compression reads, I may just put new gaskets and seals and throw it in my CJ!
that’s awesome! yea i would do the same - let me know how it goes
I just installed this same setup on the same truck and it has some serious drone problems n freeway
Beautiful truck
parece estar bien construida, tiene buen espacio
Check engine light on already?
nope
Just ordered one in the Atlas metallic blue, with the chrome bumpers and the good wheels. Great video, awesome new truck.
nice! your going to enjoy it! thank you!
This truck is awesome but the price is kinda crazy
yea it’s been great so far -10k miles already and everything is perfect .. (except the price)
I prefer cloth seats and the 103a package not much difference in price 1k to be exact looks horrible with vinyl seats and no fogs
How are you liking your 2024? I have one almost just like it. I lowered mine and it had a mbrp mid side exit and in my opinion mine is too loud. I might see if I can change mufflers and include a resonator if it will fit.
so far i really like it - can be a bit loud on cold mornings on first start but overall i think it gives the v8 a nice sound
@jeepcjgarage and you still have the resenator on? Some mornings I hate starting mine in fear of waking the neighbors. I need an exhaust with a resonator. I'm looking at a magnaflow exhaust that sounds almost too quiet but might get louder once I add headers and high flow cats. If I even mess with getting headers... Might just put a quieter exhaust on and be done.
Cosmoline is a great choice for undercoating vehicles. It's a waxy grease. It's good because it stays somewhat soft. So you can cover everything in it. If you use a bedliner it hardens and makes it impossible to remove bolts. Cosmoline being like wax you can scrape it off or just shove tools through the wax. It even comes in cans for really easy application.
good to know i’ll check it out
Could you drop the link for that 1 peice weather tech Matt? I have the same truck
here you go: make sure the link takes you to the one with the bench seat www.weathertech.com/ford/2024/f-150/floorliner-digitalfit/f150-cab-style/regularcab/f-150-floor-type/vinyl-floor/f-150-seating/bench-seating/f-150-fold-flat-storage/no/
Thank you 👍😎👍
Where did you get your voltmeter? It looks like a good style match to the other gauges
i think that came from local auto parts store actually. i’ll see if i can find the receipt
@@jeepcjgarage Just checking back with you..... I was not able to locate one at NAPA or the other auto stores...
I was lucky to snatch a virgin block a few months back and I though about putting it in a cj but I think I will save it for our wagoneer. Block cost 200$ and came with most of the other parts even though it was listed as just a block also the engine looked brand new
that’s awesome! i’m going to build this one over the winter and drop it in my cj7
@@jeepcjgaragewhat rear end does your Jeep have? Does it have a dana 44 because those are nice but also hard to get.
You got a 401 for $200? Lucky guy
Maaan I want a 2 Door f150 with 4x4 and a v8 but every time I find one it’s like 47k like what the heck
the price is the only bad part .. otherwise it’s a great truck, i have about 11k mile now and like it more now than i did at first
Nice truck man hoping to buy one soon.
Bought a new one 2 years ago, fiddled with my old Carter and got it running pretty good with a little question answering from Scout Pilot at Old Jeep Carbs, never did get the Solex to run right,I will take an American Carter over a Chinese Solex seven days a week!
for sure!
Hey, get some collabs?
Best and most thorough showing of a vehicle!
I want to buy a Ford F150 and there is a V8 5.0 engine and another engine 3.5 Tun Turbo which one do you recommend buy I need your advice
i’m personally a fan of the v8 5.0 .. i don’t like turbos and prefer a naturally aspirated v8. your fuel economy will likely be about the same if that’s important to you. i get 20-21mpg average with the v8 4wd.
Great truck...only if it had a 8' bed..
I’m sorry , what website did you buy that bed cover from ? It’s hard to make out what you said in the video.
amazon
I want this exact truck. I just would like cloth seats maybe idk.
i thought the same - but the vinyl is actually really good and cleans up well if you spill things on it
I really want this truck but after seeing the underside and how much this truck costs I’m disappointed.
That's weird how the center console doesn't open behind the cup holders. I remember many Fords in the past having that on even work truck variants. What gives?
Im late to the party but you should see what your local ford dealer can do for you in regards to the keypad. Ford is moving away from the built in keypads and they're now moving to a wireless stuck on key pad. They may or may not be able to program you a custom key pad and stick it on your truck wherever you want. Its worth a shot to ask, i don't know why they're moving away from this. The keypad is what made a ford a ford in my opinion, it was so convenient In regards to the glovebox, even though its more money, you can buy the assembly with the door and swap it out.
So, I watched this video last year and I watched a couple other videos (metalshaper for one) I decided to go with a new tub from India and I am glad I did because I had none of the problems you had save one cut made to accommodate an overdrive shifter (which was not stock). I also did not have to drill any holes. All my body mount bolts dropped right in on my '47 CJ2A. I did have a few minor enlargements of holes for the break and clutch pedal. I reused my original grille, hood and fenders and they all mated up to the new tub with no problems. My only issue with SGI experience was it took a longtime to get it. It was ordered in November and arrived in May. Overall, I am very pleased with the end result. I was glad to see you were able to work through your fitment issues and I love you end result.
I had a 1982 Chevy Silverado, short bed was my first vehicle, I loved it, but wasn't too happy when the transmission went out at 132,000 miles, of course, that was decades ago, but I've been wanting a Ford F-150 short bed and purchased a 2019 F-150 reg short bed pickup truck and I love it, it came with a bed liner and it's got 2 drink holders, cell phone place, and also a storage place underneath the drink holder, so I'm so happy with it, I wished they still came with a cd player, but that's okay. I love Ford F-150 trucks, because my personal opinion they last longer than Chevy trucks, and I don't like the look of Chevy trucks, they changed the body so much, I don't care for the front ends of the Chevy, I am very Happy with my Ford F150
