I want to control the speed of the 3 intake fans and the 1 exhaust fan differently. Current setup is connecting them all just like you do but using FanControl it seems all of them is set to same speed. If I connect the exhaust fan by itself to the motherboard, it would work right?

Very good video, but it only justified my thinking of buying the 5600GT. I had been using a old 6300FX CPU with a 1060GTX GPU and was still getting playable 1080p frame rates until the GPU failed, I am quite SURE a Ryzen 5 5600GT is faster than a Piledriver 6300FX. I just want a all round desktop but cant afford a GPU right now, I am planning a budget PC with a APU so I can start working and surfing immediately along with playing a few light games. You got lucky getting that 5600GT IMO.

Great video. My motherboard has 1amp and 2amp fan headers. Is it safe to plug the fan splitter cable into a 1amp header? I can’t find the amp rating of the fans anywhere

Intel PresentMon is quite a nice little tool, it didn't work for me initially, it seemed to be trying to use the Intel Integrated graphics I have instead of the discrete graphics card, after I disabled the integrated graphics then PresentMon started working.

Does this motherboard support ram speed upgrade from 2666 to 3200 ?

The fan header that connects to the mobo via 3pin is not PWM. Does that mean the fans run at max speed all the time?

I, like others, don't quite get the "school of thought" here. As far as price/performance ratio both when you made this video and even now, 8 months later, it's still one of the best purchases available. If the only metrics for determining what to buy were what a game looked like there'd be no reason for price/performance ratios etc.

Its perfect for something like the Deskmini x300. It can emulate anything. An IGPU is always nice to have! If you have 2 monitors on your main gpu, you lose fps while gaming. So put the second on the mainboard connector. I do a lot with kvm on linux, and you can do gpu passthrough with igpu as well as the dedicated one. Agreed, for dedicated gaming builds its not perfect, for same money you get the 5600 which is still a beast...

Great video even when not considering you seemed to just have started out a year ago. You don't find many videos on how to build power efficient PCs. Gamers usually don't seem to put that into the equation because even 200 watts difference can easily make a $ 50.00 difference in power cost per year when playing for only two hours a day. Of course you can almost always additionally undervolt your GPU with virtually no FPS loss.

I know I'm Late to the party, but the grainy effect is not the Vega 7 it's probably an AMD preset like upscaling or a shader. This processor is a beast. I can use if for dual monitors with a paired GPU or SAM Smart memory access, which allows the Decrete GPU to access and use the memory from the Vega 7 APU. I have 2 5600G and one 5600GT and using them all for gaming. Medium gaming on the ones with just the Vega 7 but still it plays even Elden Ring on medium/low. plus nice to have an APU if your GPU fails

How about power consumption? My ryzen 3600 + rx 6600 pull 160 watt at wall, gaming. considering upgrading 7500f or 8400f . 8400f 40$ more cheaper than 7500f in my country.

unless you're professional gamer or simply rich, u dont need more than 60fps. allowing a game to run in more than 60fps (not limiting it to 60 i mean) is not worth because it eventually drops and u get lagged....

Do you need a 3 pin ARGB header on your motherboard or is that just to control the leds from your pc because i dont have a 3 pin argb header and dont mind using the reset button

If you cap the frame rate using rivia statistic tuner you can get even lower power consumption and stable fps with better 1% and 0.1% lows. Cap triple a games at 60fps and esport games to 120-140 fps. Run medium to high settings since anything above it is not necessary unless its a really old game or easy game to run.

How do you get the motherboard to control the rgb? Despite being connected, only the case can control it

I have everything plugged up exactly like this. Tje fans spin but no rgb on any of the fans including cpu cooler tjat is hooked up to the hub. Is it possible that I just got a bad hub?

My cables qnd power cord are black with no HDMI cable is it fine?
