While I wish I could help you further, tutorials is not something that I currently have time for. :( To be honest, with the language barrier between us, I'm also not sure I would be of much help. What I can tell you, is pairing the remote with your phone/tablet/ipad is the same as pairing any other bluetooth device. Similarly, charging the remote is just a matter of plugging it in with the included USB cable. I hope this helps at least a little. :)

If I recall correctly, I don't think it stops flashing. I just leave mine over night.

I'm afraid you'll have to figure that out on your own, my friend. Everyone is different, so you need to figure out what will work best for you without being able to look at the remote. You can do it!

i just placed the order for this remote..im brand new at using a teleprompter and to be honest the programming is very difficult since im old lol..

Unfortunately, I can't say with any certainty how it works on iPad, as I don't own one. :( Sorry, I wish I could give you an answer, but I don't want to mislead you.

Being that the remote is bluetooth, line of sight won't matter, unlike distance. Much like a pair of bluetooth earbuds, if you get too far away, the signal will degrade and the remote won't function reliably (or eventually at all, if the distance is too great). That said, just make sure not to get the remote backward while in your pocket! Be a shame to scroll in the wrong direction. :) lol

That's a great question! I can't say with any certainty whether or not there is something like that out there, though I get the distinct feeling that if there is, there will be a noticeable latency between the button you press and the action being carried out. Of course, I could be wrong. :)

I haven't had the pleasure of trying out the Mk II version of the 80W lights, but if they're anything like the originals, I'd wager that they're still the best bang for the buck out there right now.

Great lights. Such a beautiful result I get from them.

Unfortunately I can't speak for any other apps, but the combination of this remote and Elegant Teleprompter is still going strong for me!

The sound that I demonstrated is present regardless of the RGB status. If you were to turn up the gain even more than I did for the test, you would hear a kind of "whirring" sound when the RGB lights are on, but the only way I notice it is to boost the gain to even more unreasonably high levels, so I wouldn't worry about that part.

@@imJMB I don't know if you had already tested the K688, but does that mic have the same issue?

I reached out to Fifine to express an interest in checking one out, but they haven't been able to send me one yet. :( I'm really anxious to do a comparison between the two, though! Hopefully I'll be able to get ahold of one at some point.

@@imJMB I'll be eagerly waiting! There's not a lot of reviews of the K688 as of right now, let alone a side by side comparison between the K658 and K688.. So I'm really curious of the difference between the two! Hopefully they'll be able to send you a unit to review!

Pains me to say it, but I agree!

The remote noise is really minimal, and if you press the buttons dead center, it's basically non-existent. Regardless, I don't think they'll be a problem for anyone, as long as you're not intentionally holding the remote in such a way as to make it heard. I hit the buttons several dozen times in this video, and even during the edit, never heard it. As far as whether or not Elegant Teleprompter is available on iOS; I don't have any iOS devices myself, so I'm unfortunately not in a position to be able to confirm either way, sorry to say. I agree, being able to control a teleprompter app on a tablet via your phone sounds great, though I'm not sure how one would go about it, or if that capability even exists by default as it stands. Perhaps you could pull it off with something like TeamViewer for mobile devices, though you might almost be better off running a display cable out of the tablet and onto a tiny screen that is put in the teleprompter instead.

That's an older version of the RODE VideoMic. You can find the newer version on Amazon for around $150. :)

If you're referring to the mic stand, it's just a standard telescoping boom microphone stand, nothing special. :) If you're referring to what is wrapped around the microphone, that is the included shock-mount. Hope that helps!

I can see that the GVM Site doesn't ship to Africa, but does this limitation include Amazon as well? Even though you may not get the benefit of GVM's usual sales on Amazon, if Amazon ships to Africa, then it's still better than nothing! :)

Unfortunately, I have no experience with the NW-800 microphones. What I will say though, is that there seems to be a weird inconsistency with some Neewer Microphones. For example, the NW700 that I have sounds awful (as you heard in the video), but there are other people who have NW700 microphones that sound great! I'm not sure if this is a processing issue, or if they've changed components as time has gone on, but it has made me less confident in their microphones. That being said, if the NW700 you have is working for you, then I say stick with it. If it ain't broke, as they say. :)

@@imJMB I also bought a NW8000 XLR mic. I bought it to replace the usb mic, but it sounds awful. Some days it sounds really good, other is trash. But iv seen videos with people loving the mic and saying is great for the price. Theirs sounded 1million times better. So yeah idk what's going on with that (yes I have a phantom power box). But I was hoping that was just me and a one time thing, hopefully the new usb mics I'm getting soon will be good, I wonder how common this problem is...

I wish I could answer that for you, but my hands on experience is limited. What I can tell you is that I've seen several Neewer Mics go through this. They seem to manufacture a set of microphones well for a period of time, and then something changes. The same model microphone released a few months apart some times sounds vastly different. When it comes to budget products like this, I expect some flaws and inconsistencies...it's just part of the package when you're saving money. However, the night and day different in audio quality with some of these microphones is just unacceptable in my opinion. If the recent ones you've picked up don't work out, take a look at some of the Fifine products. I'm in the process of doing a review with them right now for the K658, but they've got more budget friendly options than that one. I can't recommend a specific one, because the K658 is my first hands on experience, but they're making a name for themselves and might be worth looking into. Right now my favorite USB Condenser is the Majority RS Pro (which I did a review of), but they're sold out everywhere, and I'm not sure if or when they'll be in stock again. :(

I know the BM line of mics are similar to the NW's line. Maybe they have better quality controll

I use a teleprompter with my phone projecting the text onto the teleprompter glass. Even though it's only the difference of a couple of inches, having the phone beneath the camera draws your eye away from the lens in a way that tends to be noticeable to the viewer. Even though Teleprompters tend to be a bit of an investment, it definitely makes things seem a lot more natural, at least as far as eye placement goes. :)

Hey Adam! That's actually my biggest complaint with this particular teleprompter, which is that unfortunately, the remote is ONLY good for starting and stopping. The good news is that if you're fond of the teleprompter as far as the hardware goes, then any software/app will work with it, as long as it can be downloaded on your phone, tablet, etc. I haven't looked into it very much yet, but my guess is that you could probably find a teleprompter app that would work with one of those more capable blue tooth remotes and be all set. It's something I actually intend on figuring out for myself eventually.

@@imJMB got it. Thanks for the quick response. I'm using Proprompter studio with a remote that seems to do the same thing. Maybe my best bet is to just buy a bluetooth remote and maybe a more recent app.

That's kind of what I'm leaning toward, but again, I've no experience in it just yet. If you beat me to the punch though, let me know what you end up with and how you like it! I'd love to get a remote with more functionality.
